I loved that she was able to recommend great vendors, some of which I actually booked (our florist, bakery and hair/makeup). She was also a very diligent and organized liaison, contacting all of our vendors on our behalf to make sure that everything was being executed as planned. Caitlin was always one step ahead of the game, and she even ironed out head-spinning logistics that I didn't even know we needed to plan for! From her extensive experience, she was able to foresee all potential hiccups and already knew how to prepare for EVERYTHING! I must have e-mailed her a million times the day before our wedding, freaking out about what would happen if it rains...and a million other "problems" that had only just occurred to me. Of course, Caitlin already had a contingency plan for the rain and a solution/plan for all my other concerns. Caitlin also helped set-up all our miscellaneous decor and table items that my husband and I brought from home (i.e. not provided by the florist or any other vendor). For example, our wed-libs, card box, escort card display, well-wishing wands, and our unity candle...and more. That was such a HUGE help because I'd otherwise have to rely on the venue coordinator (who was not as knowledgeable of the plan) or assign a family member or member of the bridal party, and I wanted to make sure that my friends and family didn't have to stress about those things. In the end, neither I or my friends/family had to think or stress about any details on the wedding day. we all just sat back and enjoyed the ride!

A lot of the things that drew us to Suzanne was her familiarity with our venue and we really bonded over having lost a close important family member. From the beginning, we had multiple meetings with her and she guided us on design elements too.  She spent hours on our timeline and it really allowed my husband and I to enjoy the important day. She was such a momma bear which was especially important considering my mom lives in a different state. Suzanne is the girl scout of wedding planners, she was prepared for everything. At one point, even pulling scissors and eyelash glue out of her purse at a moments notice. She handled the small details we didn't know existed and I'm so grateful that she was apart of our wedding day. I honestly could not have done it without Suzanne.

This always made sense to me because planning a wedding is incredibly stressful, and a lot of that responsibility falls on the bride and her family. With so much going on it's hard to enjoy yourself! Emmanuelle and the Escandar Group team are out there singlehandedly reclaiming the wedding day for brides. Emmanuelle stepped in a month before our big day after our previous day-of coordinator had to cancel. The transition was seamless. Even filling in at a later stage of the process, she was so attentive to exactly what we needed and executed to perfection. Everyone asks me what my wedding crisis was -- the cake that fell over, the groomsman that forgot his cue -- and I get to tell them (to their immense frustration) that there wasn't a single snag! All the credit for that massive achievement goes to Emmanuelle, Janelle, and Precious. Not only were they tireless in getting all of our details ironed out, but they were also sincerely a joy to work with, and it made everybody happier and more motivated on the big day. Emmanuelle's strong working relationship with our reception venue helped knock down administrative hurdles, and even the clergy at my church made a point to find me after the rehearsal to tell me how warm and friendly everyone from Escandar Group was! All this while Emmanuelle was eight months pregnant and probably dying for something a little more comfortable than your standard church pew. Because of her and her team's diligent efforts, I'm able to joyfully say that my wedding day was the best day of my life. For any couples looking to take some stress off of their plate to savor moments both big and small, Escandar Group will get you there!

After interviewing several wedding planners, we met Lisa. The initial meeting was when my husband found out he had mutual friends with Lisa and when we decided that it was a perfect match. Lisa is incredible at what she does while juggling many other projects. With that being said, we never felt we were a burden or she was too busy to answer any questions we had. We had SEVERAL moments where we were in over our heads and Lisa was quick to pick up the phone and help us navigate through every detail. She was able to suggest other vendors we were in search of and dining options to fit our every need. She's professional, responsive, kind, understanding and most importantly, GETS IT DONE. Erin, one of the other planners on the Storybook team was part of our Wedding Day as well and she couldn't have been more a DREAM. She was quite literally at my side for the entire day until I walked down the aisle. Let me also mention we had 6 flower girls that were running around in excitement and Erin handled the chaos with such compassion & grace. She is professional, organized, empathetic & completely ON IT. She provided me with everything I needed and had forgotten in the few remaining hours before the wedding almost instantaneously while easing my mind until the doors opened. Our wedding would not have been the same without Storybook. I honestly don't know how we would have pulled it off without these women. We had 16 people in our bridal party, 6 flower girls, 3 ring bearers, our ceremony musicians cancelled 3 days before our wedding, I had blisters the size of my toes the morning of the wedding. I could go on and on about my worries.... but it all ended up PERFECT because of Lisa and Erin. Throughout the process, I never had a doubt in my mind that it would be perfect, but I'm here to tell you that these ladies pulled it off to be more than I could have ever hoped for without a hitch. Every single phone call, email, and meeting was managed efficiently and with ease. She is also very mindful of your stylistic needs while remaining within your budget. There will be no surprises when it comes down to your final numbers, as Carolyn clearly lists out your costs, using excel sheets comparing different vendor quotes, for you to consider. Furthermore, she even highlights these differences in a quick summary email to make the price analysis more efficient for you. One very important factor of our wedding was the food and stylistic presentation. I wanted mini beverage pairings with mini lobster rolls, mini gyros, etc. Carolyn handled our requests seamlessly with our caterer and every single idea was executed flawlessly, and deliciously. To show you even further, how Carolyn doesn't miss ANY detail, the day before the wedding, I asked Carolyn to place custom blankets on my seat and my husband's seat as a surprise to my husband. The blankets had quotes we say to each other. Low and behold, they were sitting nicely on both of our chairs. There are many planners, but not every planner can catch every single detail.
