I asked him to come over and inspect my furnace at the end of winter and he told me that my carbon monoxide levels were dangerously high because my furnace was clogged! so he yanked out my furnace (without permission) and told me I needed to replace my furnace asap. I learned late that the carbon monoxide testing was taken in the wrong place, the flue. Not knowing that he personally cleaned my air ducts he explained that my furnace wouldn't have been clogged if someone would have cleaned my air ducts properly. I know many people around town that find Charlie (drives a red van and changes companies) to be a con. These people aren't on yelp but I am.

They got after it and did good quality work. Jake oversaw the project and he was always patient with my questions and ready to explain what needed to be done. Cost: I got 6 estimates for this project and theirs was the best price and the best plan. Cleanliness: The workers were careful and mostly cleaned up after themselves well (although I did find a handful of sheet metal screws on the driveway afterward). Promptness: They showed up when they said they would and worked quickly. Communication: On site, they did a great job of communicating. But contacting them with a question can require patience. I've waited 2 weeks for an e-mail response to a question before with them. I understand that companies get busy, but you have to respond even if it's to say "I don't have time to address this right now but you'll hear from me in a week." It's the only reason for 4 stars. Overall, we were happy we chose them. Jake was fantastic.

However, I like to judge a company not on if there are problems but how they take care of them when they arise. No worries with Nate. Bumps in the road were smoothed without incident.
