Not only did Mark and his crew, especially Kirk, do an incredible job painting my entire townhome, but time after time they went above and beyond to do a ton of extra things for me at no charge. When my tenant moved out two weeks ago, I decided to sell my townhome. I knew it needed a good paint job so that I could sell it quickly, so I called up four painters to get bids. When Mark came out to give me a quote, he was the only one who spent over an hour looking at the walls, ceilings, trim, etc. It was clear that he knew exactly what needed to be done to make my townhome look its best. Out of the four quotes, one was cheaper than Mark, and two charged more. However, the cheaper one had kindof a tantrum when he found out there would be furniture in the townhome when it had to be painted, and since now he had to "take time to cover up all the furniture," he upped his price by $200. I knew I didn't want to work with him. After meeting Mark and seeing how thorough and professional he was, I knew I could trust Mark 100% to do the best job possible. He also always returned my calls and texts right away. The other nice thing about Mark is that he did not charge me any kind of deposit. The other three painters all wanted a huge deposit up front (1/3 to 1/2 down.) The biggest challenge in my townhome was the living room ceiling. It had a huge crack in it and was sagging. I knew I could never sell my townhome with a defective ceiling, but no worries - Mark went to work and fixed it 100%. He made it look better than new - you would never know there had ever been a crack there. Mark also repaired the bathroom wall and caulked the two bathtubs for me. He made sure everything he and his crew did looked perfect. Even though Mark did so many extra things for me, he never once asked for a penny more than our original contract. One of the extra things that Gator Painters did for me was when Kirk hung up the shelving that had fallen down in the bedroom closet. This was not part of the contract, but he did this for me just to be nice. Not only were Mark and Kirk the most amazing painters ever, but they also are wonderful, kind people who really care about their customers. There are no words to say how grateful I am to them for all the hard work they did to fix my townhome, and to paint every inch of it so perfectly. I am so happy that I found Gator Painters. We never claimed to be professionals that's why we called for one. He quoted us for something completely opposite of what we asked for. I contacted him after the quote to ask for a quote reflecting the repairs we wanted and he begin to be rude and call me condescending for asking for what we wanted, I hung up and he proceeded to text me very rude things and I told him to not text me anymore. Today about 5 days later he texts me again because my husband left a review that was tactful and truthful. The picture is of the text from today, I deleted the others. In the text you'll notice he mentions my business and he knows this because he stalked my fb account!! Creepy This is NOT okay from a business owner, and extremely rude. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I found a drywall repair that didn't criticize us for not knowing how to replace drywall and gave me a quote based on the repair WE (the customer) wanted done. TIM PICKLE is around 6'3 and was on my property angry and yelling at me I am 5'6 and a single woman. Why was he yelling? Well as project manager he hired the youngest most inexperienced kid fresh out of high school probably because he's cheap labor. Well this kid ruined the back side of my house pressure washing it too close. Tim got mad at me for not accepting their minimal effort to conceal the damage they created. He banged on my sliding glass door and angrily motioned for me to come out. He tried to intimidate me. I was told by the owner not to worry they can patch it with Bondo and it won't show. So after they supposedly patched and painted I came out to see it. I contacted Eric and he acted like he couldn't see what the issue was. I told him that I do not want to see any holes left by the pressure washing and that everything should be filled in and painted. Eric the owner promised me two days prior that he would have it all filled in with Bondo but that didn't happen. Tim called me the morning that he ended up yelling at me and said that he was going to replace the damaged T-11. Instead he had his carpenter Bill weakly patch some of it. They used caulk because they were out of Bondo. He sent Bill to go buy some. This company charges the same rates as companies that use 4 coats of paint and caulk everything. They thinly spray directly on the house no primer because their paint is self priming. Many areas were missed and they didn't paint the siding edges closest to the ground leaving it exposed to being damaged in future. They sparingly as possible use the tiniest amount of product. Several areas that were painted had not been filled in. The worst offense was Tim lying that my house was already this way and yelling at me. He is a hot head and a jerk I feel sorry for the men under him. High prices, poor quality, rude project manager. I did not feel safe dealing with Tim and had to fire them before they finished. They were paid for their labor.
