I know this is a chain theater in a mall, but I've never had a bad experience. Ticketing is easy (full disclosure: I use the app, which makes it easier, and put tickets in my Apple Wallet, which makes it easier still), the seats and screens have always been in good repair, the bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. We're in the premium movie club, so we pay for a subscription, but as much as we go to movies, it pays for itself. If you go quite a bit, I recommend it. I just wish it worked for Fathom and other events. My only complaints are that the floor in the snack area is often very sticky, but that is 100% the fault of customers slopping their sodas and Icees around, and the fact that in the men's room doesn't have privacy dividers between urinals. read more

One of the two mainstream movie theaters in the Olympia area. This one is better than the Regal because all the seats recline. They also have D-Box seats, which slightly vibrate and sway to the action. The cost for those seats are about $20 or more but it's an experience. I love that you can order your tickets ahead of time and pick your seats online. I also love the recliners and the seating arrangement, which means there is really not a bad seat in the house. There's plenty of room and things seemed to be kept neat and tidy (including the bathrooms). Everything is accessible, and they have wheelchair spaces in each theater, as well as companion seating. Sound is good but can be too loud, so I've taken to bringing my noise cancelling headphones, just in case. Staff is friendly overall. I've never had a bad experience there (except for those people who come in late or talk during the movie). Concessions aren't cheap, either, but I do enjoy a big tub of popcorn with a flick, so I pay the price. Speaking of prices, two tickets, some popcorn and two drinks will easily set you back $50+. Pro tip: find a matinee either early on the weekend or during a weekday. Cheaper AND fewer people, so win/win. read more

Treated my family poorly. Came to see Deadpool and provided two ID's to the staff as it is an R-rated movie. Two people in our group did not have their ID's and they denied us entry. We are all family, these were my adult siblings. Outrageous how they treated us. When our sister called to speak with a manager the next day they said we needed our parents for our other siblings. My sister asked how that is identified and the woman (manager) on the phone stated "by good judgement." What about bi-racial/multi-racial families? What about adopted youth? What about those with legal guardians? How does he know if I am not the legal guardian my siblings? Very un-inclusive, biased, possible discrimination against my family. Went on a holiday see a little mermaid. No line to get in, and no line at the concession stand . Surroundsound was great but the screen is not curved. Huge leather seats reclining very very comfortable. Spent about $35 on popcorn and drink and 3 snacks. read more

me and my kids were going to go see the new inside out 2 movie, and the person who sold us our tickets sold us already purchased seats, and when I put my card in the register he never said that the transaction went through or even said ANYTHING about it. and instead of giving us our movie ticket he gave us a sticky note that said "B 7, 8, 9 Inside out 2 aud 10". and after we spent 30 minutes watching all the previews a worker told us that we where siting in someones seat so they kicked us out!!! and after we left we saw the guy who sold our tickets and we asked him in front of his co workers "are you the one who gave me this sticky note?" he said yes and then said "these guys over here can help you I have to gone on my lunch break" (lunch break at 8:15pm is crazy by the way) but anyway my kids left the theater crying. wtf guy!!! read more

If I could write a 0 star review 100% I would. Currently sitting in the theatre writing this. I was sat in the middle of a row, three teenage boys on my left, three adult women on my right. The three boys were obnoxious and rude, dismissed employees and ignored their requests to be quiet. Mid way through the movie the boy closest to me started blowing his vape in my face. Myself, my friend, and one of the adult ladies went to employees to complain and not a single one did anything, they stood by the stairs watching us. Someone finally complained enough I guess to get them kicked out. On their way out they called one of the ladies fat, the employee escorting them out said nothing and continued to talk badly about her. Very disappointed. read more

I took my special needs sister to see the Barbie Movie a few days after it was released 7/21 . I was very disappointed that there were NO special signage , backdrops etc to take a memento photo . Also NO special Barbie snack pack available to purchase at the snack bar . The movie was SOLD OUT , and I'm positive you could have made a lot of money had you had more Barbie themed options to purchase. read more

Came to see the Super Mario Bros movie with the family. Cost was over $100 for 6 of us in 3D. Snacks were good and another $50. Price wasn't an issue. The experience that followed, was. First 20 minutes were blurry as the 3D was not working. After telling us they would restart the movie when they got it working? They didn't. So after giving them $150 of my money? They couldn't give us back 20 min of wasted movie and headache from the screen not working. That's the problem. Just apologize and get it working if you have no intention of restarting. Don't tell a group of us that came out to see what was going on, that you will and then don't. WE NEVER ASKED YOU TOO. That was YOUR reply upon being asked if you could fix it. Not worth it. Won't be back. Giving 2 stars for the snacks and the ease of online ordering and getting our tickets. Taking away 3 stars for the 20 minutes lost, and the LIE that we would get it back. read more

We always enjoy going to a real theaters to see a new movie and Cinemark, Olympia is the only one we go to in the area because their seating is so comfortable & reclines too. No crowding in a small seat here. The only reason I took off a star is because their refreshments are way over-priced so we never partake. It would also be nice if they didn't keep the theaters so darn cool. Both my wife and I have to layer up including lined pants and still get cool. A minor critique is that I wish the seating charts displayed when purchasing a ticket were more accurate & also display the entrance because I have a bladder issue and need to make a sudden exit quickly to the restroom. read more

I am glad Cinemark, or the parent company CenturyLink, decided to upgrade their experience with clearer projectors, and the XD technology, recliner, chairs, and foldable armrest so you can cuddle with your date. Although I'm removing a star because on one occasion, I was actually stopped from enjoying my movie by some petty service worker who did not allow me to bring, my dinner from across the mall and my drink inside. Never before has that ever happened to me where I was stopped. Otherwise I would've received the full five stars. read more

Kid friendly and a good place to watch a movie. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. While waiting to pay for popcorn, noticed a customer walk inside with a gun that was hidden underneath his jacket. Reported it to staff and they quickly went into the movie room, made the customer leave. Unsure why anyone would bring a gun to the movies. That is not their fault, but the staff handled it well. Only issue: Their popcorn is often overcooked and has a burnt taste. Fix the popcorn issue and this location is perfect. read more

This is my favorite place to see a movie. The concession area is a bit confusing the first time you visit. The popcorn is topped with real butter, there's ice cream, a large variety of drinks, treats, and even nachos. Also if you're on a budget, Tuesday is $5.00 and they give a military discount! Don't waist your money at this theater. They do not value their customers or have adequate safety measures in place. Less than 10 minutes into the movie a woman started screaming at another customer. He went to get an employee who came in to ask her to leave. She refused and continued to cause a scene and was pushing a teenage employee who was left alone to handle her. Security came in and the woman assaulted the security guard and then the woman was taken to the ground. At this point everyone was asked to leave the theater because police were called. The theater gave everyone vouchers to come back another time. we watched as the woman was taken out by police in handcuffs, still resisting. A few days later I went online to book the movie again with my vouchers, however I was unable to redeem the vouchers online. I called the theater and asked how to redeem the vouchers online so that I could reserve seats for this very popular movie. The employee on the phone informed me that the vouchers can only be redeemed in person. How do you reserve seats for a family to sit together at a popular movie if you have to go in person to buy the tickets? I sent an email to the customer service requesting to just get my money back for the tickets I purchased and explained the situation. Almost a week later I received a response saying they could not refund me for the tickets because I was already reimbursed with the vouchers that I can use in-person. This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced. I think I'm just done going to theaters, but if you decide to go maybe try Regal in Lacey. read more

Do not buy tickets online unless you are a "paid" Movie Club member. I found this corporation does not understand customer service, only money! You have to pay to save!? It's nearly impossible to buy tickets at their theater, seats are never available, and they tell you to buy them online. Why? So they can charge you another fee or force you to "buy" their discount. Went to go watch a valentines movie with my girl Mean Girls Musical, was sitting in the top row and there was a 30-40 year old tweaker sitting in the theater down from me screaming raging the whole movie he had over 20 plastic bags and was wearing gun holsters with no gun and had range headphones, I asked the guy to quite down and he started screaming at me then counting how many were in the theater, immediately I went and suck out staff who were all around 14-16 who laughed and said he's just tweaking you should be good went back in sat all the way in the front and the tweakers screaming at me and my lady now, I could've lost my shit but I decided to take my refund and leave but I seriously think this place needs a security rework this tweaker was in there at mean girls by himself wearing tac gear with 17+ bags on him WTF I can promise this won't be the last y'all hear from me. read more

Warning! FALSE ADVERTISING! Century has been sending out e-mails claiming welcome back prices on popcorn and soda. It clearly states large soda for $3.50 and clearly shows an on tap soda with ice. We drove wayyy out of our way avoiding Regal to give Century another shot since we've had an unanswered issue at their business once before. What you get for that $3.50 is a little plastic bottle of soda which is closer to 1/4 of the size of a normal large soda. Reeling in customers under false pretense. Shame on you Century. Understanding the whole pandemic guidelines and all....it wouldn't have been that hard to move the soda machine behind the counter and pour customers drinks like Regal does... I live about 30 seconds from the Lacey Regal theater, but we go here every time we want to see a movie. Why? Their reclining seats are SO comfy, and give you plenty of room so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of a stranger, Their concession area give you tons of options for drinks and snacks, and the employees always handle difficult people with grace. I paid $70 at the concession stand for snacks and beverages for my grand kids and myself. That included two chili dogs. They had no chili, no beans, no sauce. My grandson tossed his but I wanted to return mine for a refund. At the concession stand I was told it was chili infused. If that is what they are selling then it should be advertised. I love that they have discounted Tuesday movies. Another upside is the collectors popcorn buckets and cups that they offer and the seats are comfortable and recline. It can get really busy during the weekends which can make getting tickets a challenge if your buying them last minute. Also if you're shopping online there is a charge to use their website unless you sign up for their monthly movie pass thing. Finally they always only have one concession lane open at a time which causes a lot of claustrophobic traffic jams as your trying to get popcorn and soda. In general Century Olympia is an average theater experience. Nothing stands out as amazing but nothing is so horrible that it would detract me from going to see a movie at this location. read more

Century - where have you been all my life?! Maybe I've just lived in New York for waaay too long, but the non-matinee ticket prices at this theater are almost half of what they are in NYC! The theaters themselves are decent sized, not too big, which I prefer because the sound quality to me seems better than the amphitheater sized locations. Seats are comfortable, aisles are clean, electronic marquee boards at the front of each theater entrance clearly mark the movie and starting time, bathrooms are large and relatively clean. But where I was really blown away was the concession stand. Did I say stand? Actually it was more like a cafeteria - Baskin Robbins ice cream, Starbucks coffee, a menu to order food, and off to the side is where all the typical snacks - popcorns, candies, iced cream bars, etc. - are lined up, with cash registers up front and off to the side before entering the screening rooms. I've never seen anything like it! So well priced as well!! I'll definitely be back to this theater to see a movie at a great price and to have a plethora of snack and drinks available while watching my movie! read more
