I can not say enough good things about these two magicians! We were so sore and tired from our travels, but these two women were miracle workers and got every last drop of stress from our bodies. We both felt like puddles of happiness at the end and were able to enjoy the next week of vacation much more. Regina and Ada were gracious and friendly and the spa was clean and relaxing. We highly recommend them and wish they lived in Texas (USA) so we could visit them monthly! EDIT: this is a non-sexual massage and the therapists should be treated accordingly.

It's a clean and simple set up, with tables separated by heavy curtains in a long room. Don't expect a spa. The masseuses don't chat beyond asking about the pressure and are competent, always delivering a hard, consistent, deep tissue relaxing massage. I recommend the 60 minute massage for € 45. I call ahead of time and make an appointment. You can walk in but you may have to wait. It can get busy at times. I always leave in a euphoric state, stumbling onto my bike with a grin. Sento is a fantastic gym. The main downfall is that it's really pricey, but it's the high price…read morethat also keeps the volume low, so you can't have it all. The gym is on the second floor. The exercise area is pretty small but has all the essentials and some nice extras including an assisted pull up machine and heavy bag. On the third floor there's a sauna, jacuzzi, water massage table (amazing) and even two swings to relax on. They also provide free bath salts to scrub your feet, and also tea and water. This area is probably what sold me on the gym. One more level up there's a roof top deck with lounge chairs, which I haven't had a chance to enjoy since it's winter, but that must be fantastic. The facilities are impeccably maintained and the staff is very nice. Many of them are also trainers, and are willing to help you out during your workout. They initially start you off with a free session to set goals and create a schedule and then it's up to you if you want to get more training or just more casually get help here and there. Oh and I forgot to mention there is a huge pool on the ground level. Probably the best in the area. Just check the schedule bc there are days for kids (hoards screaming lil ones come and jump on huge inflatable slides) and then there are other days for nude swimming (whatever floats your boat...). Of course they have "normal" swimming times too. The only thing I wish is that the group classes were included but that's a separate fee and group called Club Marnix I think. Anyway, I do enjoy the serenity of the gym at night, so while I encourage you to visit, I also secretly don't want it to get crowded ;).

After he rubbed two spots on my ankle for literally 5 minutes he said 50 euros for each foot. We had trouble discussing the unfair exchange of 50 euros for the time he spent on a foot. After not understanding for several minutes he motioned for us to leave and we happily agreed. I wouldn't recommend coming to this place without speaking the language or having a translator.

I've had many sessions of acupuncture before and this place is absolutely horrendous. I asked for acupuncture and what they offer is massage with free acupuncture. I ignored the "free" red flag and figured the combination might be nice. As I lay in my undies, face down, someone swiped what I presume is alcohol on my neck and lower back. "Good," I thought, "cleanliness." Next thing I know a woman is sticking what felt like sewing needles in my neck and yelling every time, "AAAAHHHH! DOET PIJN! AAAAAAHHHH" Well, guess what: it did hurt like hell so I said "It hurts!" at which point she screamed louder to drown out my voice: "AAAAAHHHH!!!! OMA [turns out that's her name] DOET MISHANDELING!!!! AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!" The needles hurt even more when I talked, telling her to stop because it was hurting. She screamed louder and louder. I felt a liquid substance run down my neck but couldn't move my arms to check whether it was blood.
