She was so sweet, social, and thorough. Not only that, she kept me well-informed of everything she was doing and why. The best part of it all is that I don't think I even shed any blood, which I ALWAYS do due to sensitive gums, they didn't even hurt afterwards. She gave me a great cleaning and polish, then Dr. Bautista came in to verify what needed to be done and the steps to come. He is also very kind and understanding, to both, your primary needs and your financial resources. I'll be going back soon for my follow up, and for once in my life, I feel no stress (because, really, who ever ENJOYS going to see the dentist?). I have finally found the right dentist for me, and one that is so close to where I live! Score!

I had a large amalgam filling changed out on April 1st and am pleased and relieved to report that he is the gentlest dentist that I've ever had. It took barely an hour to replace the filling and the entire procedure was painless. He was calm as he worked which helped me calm down, and his assistant was a Pro with the suction tube. Not once did I have to gargle and gasp to bring attention to rising "water levels". So now I have a fabulous new white tooth where the dull grey one was and I'm no longer self-conscious about smiling. Change is good, but not too much at one time so I love the fact that Dr. Seminara kept Dr. Dobby's old crew. Yay!

Very honest, explains every procedure in detail, takes photos and applies newest dental medicine. Has wonderful approach to young patients, makes jokes and accommodates the patient according to need (my son required being warned prior to the local anesthesia and all his needs were met, no surprises, I suggest -discuss a sign for pain prior to beginning). Perfect job on 5 very complex cavities in only 2 appointments! , preventive space maintainer in place too. I thought that not having nitrous oxide (laughing gas) would be a reason for my child to request another clinic. He does not even want to hear about it. He has taken great care of me over the last year and a half, and I am very lucky to have him as my dentist - I have even waited to see him over going to see someone in New York, where I live now. If you fear dentists, are worried about a procedure, or just don't know who to go see for an annual check-up; do not hesitate to see Dr. Coopersmith! I should also mention that he will never recommend something you do not need, and will give you different options for cosmetic treatments (like teeth whitening). He's honest and kind, his "bedside manner" is very gentle and calming; I only have good things to say about him and no longer have full-blown panic attacks over having to see the dentist.

You initially schedule a consultation appointment so they access the situation and give you an approximate fee. The consultation itself is 95$ which I find a bit pricey but that seems to be the base price everywhere. I was referred to Marc Shenouda and he's very nice! Super professional as well. I already had a 3D scan and a panoramic xray from my dental clinic so it was pretty easy to see the work that needed to be done (The consultation took 30 minutes max). He told me it would be one hour and I had to come with someone because I was going to be under intravenous anesthesia. Also no eating or drinking 6 hours before. I scheduled for the 28th of April at 9am. I got there with my mom at 8:50am ish and, after signing a waver and paying for everything (I like that they make you pay before so when you're done you can just leave), they took me in right away. *A small thing to keep in mind is they make you pay the whole amount and you can claim to your insurance later, they give you the forms and everything* They started by taking my pulse and giving me 3 Advil's (to reduce swelling once it was done). After that they hooked up the anesthesia and it was weird! The needle wasn't a problem but I "felt" the liquid spreading throughout my body, super weird. It didn't make me tired or dizzy, but it numbed my mouth pretty well. It went by super quickly and painlessly. A little over an hour but it was so smooth I didn't notice the time. One hurt more to remove than the other but nothing I couldn't handle. Basically, they had to break them and remove the pieces. I could sort of feel them being ripped out but I kinda enjoyed it. Once it was done I was given my prescription and all the care instructions written down and explained in person to both my mom and I. I left with my complementary ice pack and was good to go home! Highly recommend this place if you have wisdom teeth to get removed :D

Dr. Rein always takes the time to explain what is going on, he doesn't rush, and does a thorough job. He works with an assistant most of the time instead of just doing stuff by himself, which I find makes the whole process less painful and goes more smoothly since he can concentrate on what he has to do, and the assistant is allowed to take care of the smaller stuff like keeping the drool vacuumed up and such. I like that the admin can just submit my stuff directly to the insurance company and I don't have to mess with filling out a form like my last dentist. The staff seems to be comfortable working in both English or French if that is a concern of yours. His staff is super pleasant to deal with and always friendly, especially the lady who works at the front. If you haven't been to a dentist in a while for whatever reason, they don't give you an enormous lecture, which I appreciate. He's given me a referral before, to get a root canal, and the dentist he recommended was also excellent. Additionally, he doesn't try to sell me on extra stuff, which I appreciate. Seems to take pride in his work and likes being a dentist; a lot of the equipment he uses seems up-to-date and cool. tldr: Pretty convenient to the metro, dentist who knows his stuff, doesn't sell you extra things, doesn't treat you like an idiot, up-to-date equipment, nice staff.
