I had been thinking about invisalign for like 5 years prior to this visit. When you first arrival, you have your consult with Michelle, She takes some pictures and talks you through the treatment. Then she introduces you to Dr.Korne and he answers any questions you might have. Let me tell you, I cried a lot during this process and it was literally just us talking. Michelle was super nice and reassuring. She was just such a ray of sunshine, that it was exactly what I needed to go through with getting this done. She answered every call and email with so much love and patience. You come back a few weeks later and they show you options of what they'd like to do for your teeth. It's actually really cool, they give you this log in and you can check the progress and what your teeth will look like. He gave me three options, which I really liked. One that was easier for me, someone with a lot of trauma concerning dentist. One that I wouldn't like but he really thought I would get the nicest smile with that option.. and a middle option. He gave me three because he wanted to do what I felt comfortable with. I ended up doing his option after much crying. (it was very much so worth it) Dr. Korne is nice and exceptionally talented. He would make an effort of dealing with my anxiety and tried to make me feel better, which was very sweet of him because I could tell he didn't understand where I was coming from. I appreciate his effort so much. :) Anna, takes a moulding on your mouth to really get the processes started. She's a bit rougher then I'd like and not as understanding, But she is very talented, patient and has a kindness to her. His assistant Jenny is my favourite! She's so kind and high energy. She was very sweet with the understanding of my anxiety and quickly understood how to work with me to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She made the experience at this clinic wonderful. This orthodontist is pretty expensive, But absolutely worth it. They offer payment plans as well and really work with you to make sure you can afford it. I never once felt like they were out to get my money. I love how Dr.Korne provides matching outfits for his staff. The two lovely ladies at the reception are always matching and it just makes me happy. They are so bubbly, sweet and just gentle individuals. I love walking into his office. All the technicians have matching outfits as well, it's just great! The office is bright and very clean. They don't offer parking however it's in an area of Westmount, That i've never had an issue finding parking. If you're petrified of the dentist/orthodontist, this is the office for you. I've never once felt stupid for crying because I was scared.. and I started this process when I was thirty.

Please run as fast as you can the other way. No wonder they changed the name to YUL Ortho. Probably too many complaints!

Unlike a previous orthodontist I had seen, Dr. Steinberg understood the issue right away. He proposed 3 alternative treatments, which we discussed and chose together. In the end, the treatment we chose included jaw surgery, an unique custom appliance (designed by Dr. Steinberg himself) and a year with a retainer full-time. Not an easy journey, but totally worth it! My bite is now correct, the jaw pain is gone and even aesthetically, I find I have more of a big, beaming smile compared to before. I still have a bit of numbness in my chin as a result of the surgery, but that was expected. As far as dentists go. This one's amazing...or at least Dr. LaForte n his hygienists are. Can't…read morereally speak about any of the other dentists ...nor any of the spa treatments so far. I've been coming here since 2012 n I really love how calming the atmosphere is. It really helps someone like me with terrible gingivitis. I wish my dental insurance was better tho...or that the staff would offer a fixed payment plan or something, but otherwise can't complain. I grinded my 2 front teeth down to lil nubs by running on the pavement back in 2012...and the work Dr. LaForte put in to fix those buggars was phenomenal. I can at least smile until we do a more permanent fix in a few years. Equally u should see how well he repaired, so far, 4 of my boyfriends front teeth (they used to be black and he fixed them to brand new white!) They really take the time to recommend a proper treatment plan and they are totally willing to let u decide what gets prioritized (my boyfriend needed teeth pulled but he really wanted a nice smile so they repaired the 4 front teeth first at his request). I trust these guys 100% and come here with my clients too.

Things we talked about the last time I was in the office. Not just idle chit chat, but like how my mother was doing after he met her once to fix a broken tooth. How my wife is doing, ect ect. I always find the staff amazingly nice. Very bilingual so have no worries there. Appointments are not hard to get, usually within the week I called. He is hardly ever behind schedule, if you have a 13:00 appointment, expect to be called back within 5 mins of it. From a guy who was afraid of dentist for almost twenty plus years, I actually look forward to going in, even though its usually for a filling ;)

She combines it with this little re-assuring Hypnotic voice explaining the things she will be doing in the procedure in detail .This little hypnotic voice is sometimes so re-assuring I wind up back in my car in the huge parking lot out back wondering how I got there and did I imagine the whole thing ?That is how painless she is!
