In my case I have to say it was a wonderful surprise in that I only had 3 appointments (scheduled perfectly), I did not have any pain during or following the procedures, and his easy going manner were so comforting I could have slept through some of the process. On this last visit, I was sent to him again for a route canal, he got me in (thanks to an opening) the very next morning at 8h30. He began to work on the tooth, and discovered that the break was too far into the gum (down to the bone), he realized that it would not be the best choice to waste time and money on saving the tooth. Since I was already heavily frozen, he got on the phone and worked his magic so I could go straight to another Clinique (oral surgeon), to have the tooth removed. I cannot thank him enough for the caring and responsible way he took care of my emergency issue and to recommend his services to anyone in need. His services were referred by my regular dentist (see other review), Dr Dobby, so I am not sure is you need a referring dentists or not.

Emily was fantastic and worked to get me in as soon as she could. Another woman (whose name I can't recall) followed up and got me in even a day sooner to help alleviate my pain. Dr. Stotland performed a "Gentle Wave" root canal procedure. Throughout the procedure, other than a successful outcome, his main concern was my comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend him! I'm writing this less than 24 hours later and am pain-free. Unbelievable!

We have had our fair share of negative experiences with Dentists in Montreal but with Dr. Pizem, we've had excellent results! He insists that everything must be perfect. From root canals, basic fillings, and crowns. He is a very skilled Endodontist and uses state-of-the-art equipment. Between my hubby and I, he's performed about 4 or 5 root canals total, each one having great results in the end. No complications. No errors in the procedure. When it comes to crowns, if it is not perfect then he will do whatever necessary to fix it. This includes redoing the crown completely. Having said all this, Dr. Pizem charges more then the standard Dental Fee Guide of Quebec. A crown is about $1,070.00, as an example so it's best to have insurance to help. A cleaning is I believe +/- $150.00 (rough estimate here, I don't remember 100%). They see you on-time most of the time. Once in a while they run late, but this is happens everywhere. We will continue to see Dr. Pizem & staff for our general cleanings & dental work because we have confidence in the staff there to deliver safe and assuring treatment.

Had to get 911 involved- SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT GO HERE…read morethe most unprofessional staff and dentist I've ever seen in my life. at the time of booking an emergency appointment, I told them I would require an insurance invoice. first they asked us to pay cash and they did not provide an invoice. they said they would provide an invoice on our follow up appointment. the day arrived and the receptionist said to come back because she did not know how to make an invoice. I ran after the invoice for 10 days. first they asked for an email address, then they said they cannot email invoices, so they asked for fax number and once I called back with a fax number, the receptionist took down the number and said the dentist would like to speak to you. Attara picked up the phone and said " DO NOT CALL HERe, YOU ARE TROUBLING ME'' and he hung up the phone!!!! The dentist is very rude and condescending. when I went again in person, they had no idea what an insurance invoice was. at this point I was way too frustrated and taken for a fool, I called 911 and they showed up, as soon as they arrived, my insurance invoice was ready. Save yourself and do not go there, they are bunch of thieves and I dont even think their license is Legit!!!!

I do not think this was the doctor's fault as I can remember him instructing the dental assistant lady to give me the prescriptions. Le docteur était professionnel et accommodant. Je donne cependant 2 étoiles car suite à une visite lors de laquelle je me suis fait extraire 3 dents, on ne m'a pas prescrit d'antidouleur ni d'analgesique. J'ai dû moi même demander à la demoiselle au téléphone si crla était normal. Au final, j'ai dû physiquement retourner à la clique en cette periode incertaine.

J'ai vraiment senti que ça a valu la peine de faire le détour (je suis de Montréal). Je recommande vivement cette clinique à tous ceux qui habitent Deux Montagnes, Saint-Eustache, Sainte Marthe Sur Le Lac, Mirabel et Saint Joseph sur le Lac.
