Love the huge space and it is the place where you can totally forget about anything else, stressless, and ENJOY workout. There is AC, so you don't have to be struggled by the hot weather. The window view is nice, and you see many pretty people working out there with you is A+++. Love the steam room, sauna, lockers, group lessons, energy bar, and especially the spin class (with steam if you want more challenging to your exercise). They gave you two towels. I think this chain store is sponsored by Armani. You only see Armani advertising in the entire area which is fine with me. Feel even more high-end. :)) The cost is a bit pricy. One day pass is $50, but people, it gives you AC if you know what I mean. I was at CMG, I paid $35. If you get out of the gym, cannot come back anymore unless you pay another $35. It was a small place filled with lots of people. Not enough equipments, less selective of facilities. No AC, no view. I thought I was like a blue shrimp swimming in a hot pot getting cooked. There is a gym at Latin quarter where asks for a same amount of fee, much older than CMG, same quality, but it has a big swimming pool on the 2nd floor. I was at a health club yesterday on Champs Elysees near Marriott hotel and it at the same building where Starbucks is located. It is at the basement, asking for $40/day. Big place, so so equipments, no street view, I felt kind of gloomy and suffocated already and I haven't even started working out. So if you really want your workout in Paris feels like a treat, come to L'usine!!!

No refund, no flexibility, nothing. That alone tells you how this place treats its members. Having actually trained here a few times since, I can't say the product makes up for it. The equipment is old, and the floor space is cramped enough that it gets awkward at peak hours. At 200 EUR a month, this is nowhere near the value you can get elsewhere in the city. The one genuine positive: the staff are lovely. Friendly, helpful, and clearly doing their best with what they've been given. After meeting the owner, my impression is that the problems here start at the top, not with the people working the floor. Signing up was a mistake. If you're considering signing up, now you've been warned! I guess that's why they charge for minimum 3 months at the time....

For Paris, it's a decent value for the money especially if you have an employer who offers discount certificates. They have a lot of exercise classes and a few free weights. If you go after work or during the weekends, it's pretty crowded. You'll see the same faces again and again -- there are some pretty serious weight lifters here.

They also have a small selection of equipment for those that would prefer to buy. The club itself is pretty small: 4 courts and a work out room. Note that court 3 and especially court 4 have low ceilings making them inferior. Also, the changing room is just that - it has no lockers. There are also no towels or soap - so make sure to bring your own if you want to shower there after playing. There is a bar, however, so one can rehydrate with a beer after playing. Bar's bit dusty and surrounded by leather chairs and couches which give it a sort of (distantly) British club feel. So come here and hit some balls!
