The hubby usually does our taxes, but last year had a lot going on, so we decided on professional help. We received a warm welcome from Sam when we arrived for our appointment. He's a really personable guy. Super nice. He took copies of our documents and said he'd get to work on our returns. I got a call Wednesday morning that our taxes were done. That was quick! An appointment was made to pick them up the following Monday. Again, a warm welcome from Sam...and he had good news! We'll be getting both a Federal and a State refund. Happy dance! We provided our banking information and our returns were filed electronically. Sam provided paper copies for us, we paid a very reasonable fee for his services and we were done. I wish we'd known about Tax Guys years ago. Easy Peasy and no hubby stressing out at his computer doing our taxes himself. Highly recommend! They do both personal and business returns, too. Oh, and Sam is also licensed for health insurance. Covered California and Medicare. Now I can recommend two great guys in the neighborhood for that.

Cristina is professional and friendly and can get you in and out in 15-20 mins depending on what and how many you're doing your taxes. As you enter you sign in and wait to be called. First off Cristina is amazing, she's very friendly, knowledgeable, fast and efficiently with her work she really does try and work with you. I would highly recommend her even though she gets really busy during the tax season. This is actually the first time that we waited about 2 hours. We arrived at 8:30am and there was about 7 ahead of us. It got to the point where they called someone that came in after us that we decided to look at the list and we were frustrated to see that my name was crossed out. I thought I heard my name but when she called it a man stood up and went. So this whole time we were waiting we could have been done. I feel the workers should call out the first and LAST names on the list only because there are so many names that sounds so familiar. I have a Hispanic last name and I'm far from hispanic and when she called out my name it sounded like she said Jose and maybe that was the reason why that man took my spot. It was definitely frustrating. Other than that this place is great. She did up her fee but it's worth is since she's really doing what she can to give you the "maximum" tax return you can get.
