Went to this place for two years. Not really sure why we kept going, probably because it was close…read moreand convenient. But this year we finally went to a real CPA and it was LESS expensive than going to Liberty and the environment was so much more professional and the CPA was so much more knowledgable. However, the main reason we left is because Liberty made big mistakes on our return. They had us take a deduction that was not appropriate and the IRS caught it and it has been such a pain! And when I would call Liberty to help us (as assisting with audits is part of the role of a tax preparer) they would not call me back. I finally got in touch with the manager and he apologized, but this happened two more times. When I finally did get in touch with the tax preparer, she was very kind, but it was clear that she did not really know what she was doing. I would really recommend to just not go here. Super unhappy with the service. It is cheaper and more effective to get a CPA or just do Turbotax.
