They gave me 3 options and provided actual copies of what things would look like. None of this having to search your imagination to think of wjat it would look like. They showed you. Staff very polite and attentive. Prices were more expensive than I thought the job woud be but you get quality. Also you were not forced or pressured to accept the highest price as options provided, at a least expensive levels to consider. More than once they said this might fit into your budget as if they were on your side and I felt they were. They were helpful every step of the way. YOu might not go with them for your project but if not you may have gone with a less quality outfit.

I was new to printing flyers and they helped me get my art work setup to print correctly and sharply. I was very satisfied with the end product. I also got bids from competitors I found on Kijiji and yp.com to make sure I was getting a good price. After talking with Platinum, I felt they were the right ones and I am happy I went with my instincts. I will go back to them for some follow-up orders to my ad campaign.

They emailed asking what finish. then emailed suggesting it might not get printed in time. ok. I called to get clarification on the "might". I needed them that evening, can they do rush yes or no. I was told yes! Ok great so I didn't go down the street to another shop. Then 30 minutes later I get an email saying no... so I call again and the person on the phone (a new person) says he cant tell me yes or no. He suggested I go with no. This shop lacks communication and customer service. The person on the phone for the second time wouldn't check if the file was in que or not. I was not rude on the phone, I just needed an answer - do I take my business else where? So I called a shop down the road and they can print in a 2 hour turnaround.

I shopped around for a printer, and after pestering enough of my uber-serious-photographer friends for advice, I eventually decided to try out Colourgenics. I just picked up my prints and am extremely pleased with the results. They're so gorgeous that for a brief moment I considered myself the next Henri Cartier-Bresson; I'm sure the folks at Colourgenics would disagree as they obviously weren't as smitten with my raw natural photographic talent as I was during the print-unveiling. Despite the lack of ego fluffing I would definitely return. They know their stuff, were extremely helpful and courteous both by e-mail and in-person, and produce killer prints. Although they're on the pricey side compared to other local printers, I decided it's not worth dropping so much money on fancy gear but cheaping out when it comes time to hang photos on my wall. If saving a few bucks is important, I would recommend shopping elsewhere, but if you want your prints to look as stellar as possible you can't go wrong with these folks.

I was actually looking for Sherwood Copy, couldn't find it, and saw this modern clean shop. Thought…read moreit would be a pricey place but hey, I needed something printed asap. Turns out omazzii was previously Sherwood Copy. I wanted a colour document printed on 10 pt card stock, and it turned out to be only $1/letter size page...which is unheard of for any colour printing let alone on card stock! And they were able to print it right then and there! Excellent service, fast turnaround time, extremely low prices (I thought I was scamming the place with what I paid). Such a shame that I have been in the neighbourhood for so long and have not discovered the place until today. Would definitely come back without a doubt for all my other printing needs!
