He still has some issues with "puppy brain" but he waits to go out and come in the door, he will sit, walk on a loose leash and stay. On Devin's first visit, we walked with Shadow and a robotic dog. He showed us how to handle Shadow better when walking by other dogs. I had a Rottweiler pass away from cancer so it was good to see he trained all types and sizes of dogs. From the first call with Gerard I can tell he had a passion for training dogs with "non harsh" training methods. As he pointed out there are other dog trainers that use shock collars or other methods that I don't agree with so it was nice to know he doesn't use those methods. I could tell he cares about his clients and dogs and sometimes that didn't come through with other dog trainers. He personally has 3 dogs himself. I would recommend Gerard to anyone that needs help with their dog(s). He has great hand out material and always calls me back within a reasonable amount of time.

I acclimated with my puppy before I let him go to "puppy school". I was given a reasonable rate as he was going to be trained in house. I could not have asked for the best trainer, Natasha set up a neutral place to transfer my puppy to her capable hands. During training, I received a daily "report card and short video about Sarge "my puppy's progress. That in itself showed just how much he got the training in a short span of time, so I was eagerly waiting everyday for his "report card". I was amazed. When his three week training was done and I passed my "training test" to see how Sarge would respond to my voice commands and was amazed at how he quickly adapted to commands coming from me even though I hadn't brought him home yet. Natasha put me through my paces to ensure I knew how and when to give commands and what to do if commands were not met on first try. I could never thank Natasha enough for the incredible job she did in training my puppy. Once home, he has been such a different and disciplined dog. Sarge is so eager to play wants to be put through his paces. I would so very highly recommend United Canine to anyone who needs dog training. Natasha is amazing.
