After feeling weighed down and stressed out by a handful of things -- let's just call it 'life' -- a friend recommended I go see Brendan. Having never tried acupuncture, I was admittedly a little skeptical. In my head, I kind of bucketed the idea with massages which have neverrrr done anything for me. By the time I'm able to relax and actually turn my mind off, the massage is nearly over. Turns out, acupuncture is in a stratosphere of its own.... and Brendan is equally amazing. He really takes the time to understand his patient's needs and strives to ensure you leave him feeling significantly better than when you arrived. I apparently carry a lot of my stress in my shoulders. Brendan once described it as "my nerves having a rager and the needles being the police coming to break the party up" --- wow, did they ever. As soon as the first needle goes in, I can feel the stress pouring out of my body... almost like a balloon that's being deflated. It's amazing. I've now seen Brendan for more than just stress (pain in my knees and feet from running and working out, problems with my blood circulation, he even helped me cure a head cold). Each and every visit leaves me in the most perfect state of relaxed bliss -- like I'm floating above the clouds. True story, I actually once asked a friend to pick me up after my appointment because I felt too relaxed to drive home. It's thaaat kind of good. :) I've heard that acupuncture affects everyone differently so you may, or may not, have the same euphoric reaction I have... but you would be crazy not to at least try. read more

Central Path is as good as it gets. I have had recurring knee pain that has really impacted my activity level, and I have tried everything from extensive physical therapy, hot yoga and even surgery with no luck. Brendan does an excellent job at making you feel comfortable during your treatments and goes to great lengths to make sure you are an active part of your healing process.
