The location of the hotel is few stops away from the train station, it is on the Victoria line, Finsbury Park stop. It's about 10 mins walk from the station to the hotel. There are many bus lines on the block of the hotel. First, I wouldn't say this is a hotel. I would say it's a motel or service apartment. They have three different buildings on the same block. They are not connected to each other. So, please go to the main one to check-in first, then they will assign you rooms. Their free wifi sucks, it never connects, dont waste your time. If you live on the #18 building, it might be have a better luck of connecting it. The only good thing about this hotel is the free Continental breakfast, it serves everyday from 7am to 10am. It's the same food everyday, but I guess it's better than nothing. You can save a couple pounds. Around the neighborhood, it is a hood to me. Like bronx in New York. Many fast food restaurants around, but mostly fried chicken or halal. There are two mini supermarkets, they are very closed by the hotel. Overall, it's a safe neighborhood. You can easily access the underground and bus. So, this is a plus too. The price here is considered average or cheap. So, I guess this is what you paid for. I would not stay at this place next time. But if you have a budget for your trip, this would not be a bad choice but dont put your hopes up too high. read more
