I received a good price estimate on a basement remodel/finish. Work was started quickly and the…read morecommunication was great with the secretary. That is where it ends. The owner (Kevin) did the initial walk through and I didn't see him since. His workers did the work which I had concerns about. Rounded sheetrock corners (no corner bead), recessed outlets (too deep in sheetrock), cracks after 2 days, nail pops, caulking was like a 2 year old did it. I can fix all of that, but the kicker was the DUST! What the hell! I was told they were going to lay plastic but didn't. Looked like it snowed all over everything. TV, furniture, electronics,,, everything. I'm not sure how someone could work on a project and see this and continue like everything was ok. Halfway through I asked them to stop and take their tools. They asked for their payment to be paid in full ad threatened a lean. I know legally they can't put a lean on me as they didn't file for a lean before the project started. They didn't follow through with the contract. Only did half a ceiling which I asked about several time and got a rude response from the owner Kevin. I settled and paid them what I felt was fair. Actually I paid them way more that what was fair, I just wanted to be done with them. I am lucky to have the money to do this it was eaisier for me. Please be aware of this company. they need to stay away from interior construction. They need to stick with what they know (roofing which I hear they rob people at). This guy is so rude, stay away!
