The work was completed well, and I'm happy with the outcome. When it came time for billing, I was surprised to learn that a second technician had been onsite, as that hadn't been discussed in advance. As a result, the labor cost came in about 2x higher than I expected. To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! I originally set the review at 4 stars, but have adjusted it up to 5 stars because of this. Thanks Jason!

As part of the remodel on the kitchen and back porch they widened a door and took part of the wall down between the former kitchen and dining room. The space is fantastic and completely transformed from what it was. They created more space in the bathroom as well by removing a wall and doing a complete remodel on the space, including a beautiful tiled shower. It looks great and the price was such a great value as Jim really works with your budget. Some of the demo we did and then the construction crew took over from there. The entire space looks and feels completely different. A couple years ago they remodeled our garage and turned it from a leaning 1950's tear down garage into a fantastic area for us to work in. They made the ceiling higher and installed an oversized garage door for us to get larger equipment in and out. The space is fantastic and that's why we asked them to come back and do the remodel on the house. I couldn't be happier with the end result. I highly recommend them for any remodel or a new build.

Eventually after the job was complete, we found that the eye sensors for the gate were not hooked up and the job site was not cleaned up. We asked the owner to come clean the site but never returned. Biggest complaint is that they would say they would be there and never show up where we consistently had to call to find out when they would return.

Even though it was a smaller project, Rod & Trevor jumped in to help us when another client asked them to as a favor. Their communication is second to none - both are extremely responsive over phone and text, answering right away or getting back within minutes. And always with a positive attitude and a solution. They worked with our HOA to get a beautiful design approved without having to go through the formal, months long process. They managed the electricians, dry wall team, and even hand built the deck themselves when their contractor's truck failed. Not only did they get the project done in a matter of weeks (when everyone else is town was saying it would be months), they did it at a quality level that is simply delightful. We are now hoping that when we build our dream home in the future we will be able to use them again. Top quality work, performed with integrity at every turn. These guys are excellent.

At the onset I thought Rogue Brothers seemed very professional as their communication was frequent…read moreabout our project. We finally got our plans finished and got a quote. However the quote was extremely high, over 400K for a shop building. It was almost 100K over every other quote. But still, It was pretty obvious we needed to go back to the architect to make some design changes to reduce the cost. After we made the changes Rogue Brothers told us they would not modify their quote unless we made a deposit of $2,000.00 because, as they told us "quotes take time and research." Fair enough, so we went with another builder. Rod emailed again asking how my project was going. I declined to answer because we had moved on to another builder. Then he emailed me again a few weeks later to which I finally answered that we found another builder but maybe we can consider you for our home rebuild. Instead of graciously thanking me for my consideration to use them in the future. He wrote me this passive-aggressive response. "Thank you for the update. Given how things unfolded with the current project we respectfully decline consideration for any future projects. We wish you the best. Regards, Rod Lampella" All this because I didn't accept their initial quote. Really pathetic when a builder can't work with you to gain your business. Trust me, I won't be back ever, and neither should anyone else.
