I usually had to call to schedule a missed pickup since they just did not show up. This would result in my trash being at the curb for days, if not a full week. Sometimes, they never came until the next pickup (2 weeks later). I finally called to cancel and scheduled a bin pick up. They did not show up on the scheduled day to pick up the bins, so I had to call to reschedule. They've finally picked up the bins but are charging me $80 for bin pick up. I've called 4x to complain about this excessive fee (which was not disclosed when I cancelled and I was not given an opportunity to drop the bins off). They were supposed to call me back after 2 of the 4 phone calls, but no response. Find a different trash provider! Update: After posting my review, someone from Republic did reach out to me to resolve some of my complaints. Bumping up to 2 stars because of this.

Please send us an email." I sent them that e-mail. Issues I raised included missed pickups, overbilling relative to our contract, fraudulent penalty charges, unresponsiveness, false information, etc. They first confirmed that our trash had been picked up (for the first time in two weeks) (it had been) (with no refund for the missed pickups). Then they said they'd have my rep reach out to me for follow-up. I pointed out that one of my issues was our rep had repeatedly blown off explicit commitments to follow up, and had ignored all attempts to contact him for a month and a half. I asked if they would be willing to address ANY of our other issues, and if anyone at Republic would be willing to take responsibility for our account. "Thank you for your email.  Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with that request."

Two young men showed up on time and completed the job even doing more than had been agreed upon. I fully expected to pay more because they did more. They said no, the quoted price was enough.
