I had tickets at Mad Cow Theater and Central Garage has a deal with them for $5 flat rate, so no-brainer to park here if you plan to go to the theater (just make sure you validate the parking ticket with the theater front desk to get the deal!). Some things to keep in mind however - you still have two more blocks that you have to walk from Parking garage to the Theater and its crossing a busy street with cars, so if you happen to be running late, it's not really ideally situated. - its situated right opposite the fire-station and so if they get a call out and/or the fire trucks returning back, it'll take you some time to cross the street and head towards the theater - if it's a shorter play (like under 2 hours or thereabouts) then the Garage will still charge you $5 flat rate rather than $4, so be cognizant of having to pay out that extra buck if you get your parking ticket validated by the theater. Otherwise its well-light, fairly clean and a convenient option to park your car in the downtown location Yelp Review: 4/2017

Basically my go to parking garage. Provides Public Parking for all of DT but it's perfect for Ember, Wall St, Church St. DT Events and Amway events. It's easy to get in and out and there is never a line when leaving, especially for large events. You can use cards here (for general parking/not for events) so that is a plus. When there are events though, it's $10 flat, cash only. Rates*: $1.00 for the first 30 minutes. (30 minutes or less only) Per Hour: $2.00 hour / $15.00 daily max. Some exclusions apply. Early Bird Special: $8.00 (Enter before 7 a.m., exit by 5 p.m.) Diner Special: $6.00 (enter between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., excludes events)

This spot scheduled to begin construction in early 2007 and it truly didn't become anything of sustenance until last year. I do have to say, I love the way everything has turned out aesthetically. It is no longer an eye sore and has many spots to check out! Mills Park is the home of Gallery at Mills Park Apartments and it's a 5 story, 300 apartment home. Very modern and sleek looking but my favorite part is when you walk around you can see a ton of gorgeous woodwork and they used the old mill yard wood to make these pieces. Very cool. The parking isn't very ample but things are still in the construction phases. It appears more parking will be coming. It sits on the Orlando Urban Trail so it's a great starting or resting point if you want to enjoy the trail. Tons of bike parking throughout the area as well. There is a variety of spots to grab food including: The Fresh Market Firebirds Segafredo - Rooftop! Brass Tap - Outside seating! First Watch Giraffas Other spots are: AT&T store Dr. Phillips Specialty Pharmacy Pure Barre Cherry Blow Dry Bar Marilyn Monroe Nail Boutique I have enjoyed watching this grow from conception and I can't wait to see what else is in store for this location.

I use the parking lot directly across the street for my safety. Yes, you can circle around and find free parking but for a few dollars, it is worth it to me to use this garage. They are nearby to pretty much anything you want to do in the heart of downtown Orlando. They are right across the street from the major library. But they are also close to a lot of the clubs and restaurants downtown that are popular. it's a much easier place to find parking easily than to try and find parallel parking on the main roads. it does have two different exits one that comes out on pine and one that comes out on Central. Be sure to pay attention to the signage so that you exit out onto a road that makes your life a little easier once you're out. A lot of the roads downtown or one ways so be sure to note which way you want to go home before you fully exit the garage. Overall: A conveniently located and decently priced. This is an easy space to find parking downtown for pretty much anything.

However all of the signs say to please bring your ticket with you and pay before coming back. If you go here during peak hours it can take forever to get out of the parking lot. There are a couple parking lots that are similarly priced that don't have these problems. You do get the convenience of parking at the movie theater however you may also have to wait to leave. The prices are fair however there's a very strong smell and the staircase so it's definitely not the fanciest parking lot. My car seemed to be safe so I am grateful for that.

There are many elevators leading to and from the garage, but beware. Some stop in floors labeled 2b and 2c, while others only to go to 1, 2, 3, and so on. I have twice taken an elevator to what turned out to be a hallway of doom. It appeared to be back hallways behind the restaurants and I don't know how I got there, but I ended up finally exiting at the dumpster... It was oddly comical the one time I was with friends. Not so much when I was by myself. Should you head my advice and take the same elevator to return to your car you're still not out of the woods. The elevator on one side of the building stops at a floor and then proceed to shake violently for several seconds before the door opens. I've exchanged many a nervous (see: terrified) look with strangers on that elevator. All of us sure it would be our final ride. If that wasn't enough of a case for taking an uber to the movies, the scrapes along the narrow curves of the garage tell the tale of many a scratched SUV. Do as I do, friend: drive at an ungodly slow pace as you exit/enter. Finally, there are many warnings to pay at one of the pay stations before you go back to your car. Yes, only one will work so there will be a long line, but if you've made it this far in my review I'll share an insider's tip- you can actually pay with a card right at the exit. Shhh!

The parking rates are pretty standard compared to other garages in Orlando where you're charged by how long you spend there during the weekdays. Because of the 5k today there was an attendant waving people in and out, which was helpful to keep the flow of traffic between cars and pedestrians going. The pickings were slim for parking spots due to how busy downtown was and there's a selection of parking spots on each floor that are reserved (I assume for residents) so I did have to park on the roof but there's elevators and multiple stairs access to get you downstairs quickly. The stairwell was pretty clean and orderly, which you don't always see in downtown, and there was even signage to point to restaurants and shops!
