I've been coming to CFPG for years now. Caring staff and caring team of physicians. I suffered from trouble breathing and shortness of breath. I've been seeing Dr. Masood for my concerns and he's taking very good care of me. Dr. Masood is very caring and has very good bedside manner. Dr. Masood also explained to me what was going on and how treatment would work. Yes sometimes the practice itself is very busy but that's every medical practice nowadays. Regardless I plan to continue coming back for my normal checkups and would highly recommend it to others as well with similar problem breathing problems such as mine. read more

Called in August of 2025 for an appointment. I was scheduled for October. That appointment was rescheduled by the office. The new one was canceled due to their merger with Advent. That new appointment was rescheduled, then again, now May of 2026, my July appointment was just canceled. So 9 months after initally calling and trying to make an appointment, I'm look at 12+ months for the next available appointment. Still haven't been seen. Go elsewhere. read more

I would highly advise against seeing Dr. Robert Santos. As a physician, I am absolutely appalled at his interactions with patients. He saw my 77 year old mother for initial consultation last year. She did not remember the details of her visit, so I reached out to his office on three separate occasions to ask for the clinic notes, or a brief discussion, so I could understand his recommendations. I did not get any response, so I asked my mother to go to the office and sign a medical release form, thinking perhaps that was the barrier. When Dr. Robert Santos saw her in the office waiting room , she told him that she was there for fill out medical release forms so that he could communicate with me about her care. He immediately fired her as a patient, stating this relationship was not working for him and she needed to find a different pulmonologist. Not only is this reaction incredibly aloof, but as a physician I know that it is his responsibility, as a healthcare provider, to release medical records to anyone the patient requests for information to be transferred to. I understand he may not have wanted to call me back as he could not bill for the telephone visit (which is an issue in itself), but him sending medical records is NOT him doing me or my mother a favor. It is his responsibility as a healthcare provider. It is a scary thing to have physicians out there who only see patients as dollar signs- as clinic encounters they can bill for, and then be done with the patient without taking on the other vital roles of a physician- one of them providing medical records at a patient's request. I am considering reporting him. Someone like this should not be allowed the honor of treating patients. read more

I can't wait until after my CT scan results to find another doctors office. No reply to phone messages, almost impossible to get a human on the phone, the fastest return call back was 48 hours. Once it took 4 days. They also were wrong once about my insurance being approved for the CT scan and it was not so I had to reschedule and delay results of finding out if I have cancer or not. Very unprofessional office. Would not recommend. read more

This hospital will not take care of you in any way they don't make call backs they won't talk to you when you call in you have to make an appointment. It's just plain horrible how they treat you I had an emergency after hours problem or I couldn't get the machine to work and there's nobody there for you nobody. I have seen Dr. Layish for one year. His schedule is a disaster, and he has no respect for his patients' time. The admirative personnel is very inefficient. No return of phone calls, cancellation of appointments without knowledge of patient, mistreatment, etc. The last THREE appointments I had to wait MORE THAN HOUR AND A HALF in a room looking for the walls and didn't see him because I left. I saw Dr. DeBoer regarding some longstanding respiratory issues, and everyone I interacted with, from the front desk to the nursing staff to the respiratory tech to the doctor, was kind, efficient, competent and professional. I will give them 0 stars if I could. I have never experience such a disorganized and unempathetic doctors office as this one. Waiting months for an appointment after a long hospital stay and in urgent need to get a bronchoscopy to finally get a diagnosis, forget it!! they do not even answer or return you messages. It is impossible. How can a doctors office run like this? Is all about the $. If they can not handle the volume of patients to provide a decent and needed care then, just take the amount of patients you can give them a quality service. Also they after waiting MONTHS to get in to see my doctor, when I called to reconfirm they said someone in their office had cancelled the appointment and they couldn't see who or why. I have to say this is the worst facility I ever been to! there is no hospital affiliated with cf and I feel like this facility has you on your death bed. Do yourself a favor and go to a different facility even if you have to drive longer. Very disappointed with the service of this facility and staff. Never give you and appointment. They ask you for the doctor paper ( green or blue) that says in how long they want to see you back When you walk out the front desk ask you for that paper to tell you. ( We call you because we don't know the doctor schedule). Wow they never ca me to give me the appointment. I been calling asking for help. I'm with a lot of pain. 6 months ago I was hospitalized. Do to Lung Inflammation. This facility has no provide me with the care I need. As I'm writing now I'm in a lot of pain. They refuse to give me a monthly injection. Even me been with pain. They told me they place the order in the insurance for the injection. I call my insurance to ask the specialty farmacy. They told me. That they never received that order from this facility. For my monthly injection. I almost cry today and they sent me home in pain with out give me a proper treatment. No even my refills. If you have Asthma or C.O.P.D please look for a better place and better doctor's to see them this place or the employees it has. I was in a lot of pain and 3 different ladies told me. No you have to wait until it gets approved or denied. When they have those injections at the office. The excuse was. We ran out. Don't believe a word. Proven today by the insurance. This office was absolutely one of the best I have experienced in my still young, six month battle with cancer. Dr. Layish stated one course of action then changed it and ordered a test for me in contradiction to the plan, w/o any explanation to me. Also, the staff there have no problem letting you languish in an exam room for hours waiting on Layish to see you! I am being generous with 3 stars. I had been coming here for 3 years or more, but after today, I won't be going back. I have asthma, and have seen Dr. Masood. He's a good guy, but the support staff is just really disorganized. I've been told by him to make follow up appointments, but when I get to the front desk they say they will call and book one for me 3 months out, but never do. Also, they seem to charge me the wrong copayment because I've gotten checks for reimbursement from their overcharge, but they still make me pay the same amount when I'm at the office. I suppose getting a reimbursement check is better than a bill in the mail... but either way, it's annoying. The doctor will tell me to try a sample of a new inhaler, but there never seems to be any actually at the office. It's just one thing after another, the deal breaker today was after an allergy test, I went into the bathroom to wash off my arms and there was no soap. In a bathroom at a Dr's office! NO SOAP! If you can get past some of the administrative hiccups, then this place will work for you. However, I'm not going back. read more

This is the third or fourth time I have had a problem with having a appointment and the doctor not being there. I mean I travel across the state because I thought they were good doctors. I was at this location and I experienced the longest wait I ever had in a doctor office. The coordination between schedulers & management is poor. How can you schedule so many doctors at the same time with a location that is with a small parking lot and a small waiting room, not counting with all the test they want you to have before you see the doctor . I wait 2 hours before I get called for my vitals then my first test x ray etc., I have to mention that Archy & X ray guy are super, & Dr Mobin he is good also , but the managment, schedulers or pt coordinators are a hot mess. I understand the part they follow orders but this owner needs to do something with this schedule or get a bigger office also the staff's over work. I was in the back for 5 min Dr. Garcia came in check my breathing and have me a sample to me I need a breathing treatment did not give it to me and said he want to see me back in one month. Please review the privacy policy before going for a sleep study otherwise you will end up with a $1200 bill due to equipment they order for you through a third party equipment company called Apria. I never received a diagnosis or spoke to a doctor from the Pulmonary Group. I simply did the sleep study then was charged $800 on my insurance for equipment I didn't agree to and a bill for $500 from the equipment company that my insurance didn't cover. This wasn't for the sleeping study equipment, that was returned. Whoever the doctor was just decided that's what I needed and I was left with the bill. I tried to call the Pulmonary Group was but unable to contact the doctor who wrote the order and was told if I wanted my diagnosis, I had to speak to medical records. If you can't afford a $1200 bill you have no say in, don't use this group. It's hidden in the privacy documents you sign "we may disclose your PHI to others who are involved in your care or may assist in your care, such as, but not limited to, a hospital, out patient facility, durable medical equipment company,..." You PHI includes your insurance information allowing them to charge whatever they want to your insurance without your consent. read more

Before anything else I would like to mention that I really liked Dr. Layish Daniel however the way the medical office is managed leaves much to be desired. I had a CT scan scheduled for September the 7thand about 10 days prior my appointment I received a phone call to reschedule my appointment for an earlier date. So, I did. I was told the previous window for the CT scan was not available and I should arrive for my appointment 1/2 hour earlier to fill the required paperwork. I arrived about 45 minutes earlier, checked in with the reception, waited about 1/2 hour and checked again and I was told that I'm checked in and I should wait. After waiting for 1 1/2 hour outside in the rain - was a rainy day - when I spoke to the receptionist and the CT scan Manager, I was told that I didn't have an appointment in the first place and the scheduler must've made a mistake. The staff at the reception were rude, giggling and laughing all that time in a language other than English when patients were waiting outside in the rain. I felt that that the staff has no empathy; lacks respect for me as a patient; treated me like I was a second -lass citizen; and that I was at their mercy. Never have I felt so disrespected from a health providers office, let alone in my entire life. The coordination between schedulers & management is very poor and my waiting was unacceptable. Ill never ever go back to that office. To add insult to injury, I have to start all over and find a new doctor. read more

Words cannot express the gratitude and admiration that I have for these dedicated and CARING professionals! My only regret is that I did not hear about Dr. De Boer sooner, I "literally" owe that man my life! After being diagnosed with an aggressive, terminal and incurable lung disease in January, I waited 8-months to seek a second opinion as I had progressed to the point I was simply "waiting to die". My first visit he put me through so many tests I was asleep in his exam room when he entered to provide the results. Told me more or less to go home, stop all the medication and return to him after going for an uncomfortable 7 tubes of bloodwork. My return visit? Passed everything fine, not a single indication supporting my previous "diagnosis". He is very through and ordered a third test to conclusively confirm the results of the first two. I go next week. I went from being on Oxygen 24/7, tons of medication and terminal outcome to today, being on NO medication, NO Oxygen, I can work, walk my dogs, my freedom and life returned to me. From Ariel accommodating my extreme and last minute schedule accommodations to Dr. De Boer who will treat you with genuine compassion and kindness and respect. He reminds me of another more nostalgic time in life, one where doctors actually KNEW and CARED about their patients, the made house calls back in the day and were the defining pillars of the community. Dr. De Boer exhibits the compassion and caring of years past, while at the same time is pushing the edge on the very latest treatments, technologies and clinical trials. The knowledge, experience and wisdom of the most cutting edge professional I ever met, the demeanor and TRUST of your home town family doctor. Lastly but EQUALLY IMPORTANT is every single member of Dr. De Boer's staff, what an AMAZING ensemble of a diversity who share, exhibit and practice a few core common elements of what I perceive to be the "culture" of the Central Florida Pulmonary Group. Every individual is an important part of his team who focuses on you personally and your success and recovery regardless of their position. I observed during my visits a consistency, each person TRULY was educated and highly qualified in their function, every person from when I walked in the door to on my way out treated me with respect and professionalism and made me feel that they valued me, I never felt like a "number", every single person treated me with respect, competency, patience, I was never rushed, questions were welcomed, everything was explained and I was actually "involved" in my care and outcome. I can only describe it as stepping back in time to when practitioners cared about the person, while my other foot was in an office that pushes and challenges the boundaries of science, the most modern and advanced training, equipment, options and even ongoing scientific trials. Two unlikely worlds merged. Once or twice I met someone there with an attitude, I don't ever recall seeing them there twice. The best physicians, the best clinicians, the "genuine" and no FAKE concern for their patients. The most remarkable, and in my individual experience, lifesaving experience of my life. If Dr. Masood and CFPG was the pulmonologist on earth, I still wouldn't go. I would be dead before they assisted in treatment anyways. I waited seven weeks from when my first appointment was and nothing got accomplised. I had to pay out of pocket for an in-home sleep study because my "insurance would not approve it"... After contacting my insurance, CFPG never even contacted my insurance provider to see if I could get approved. Which I did not need approval for! I had a second appointment with Doctor Masood, I showed up and they couldn't explain why I was there. I called them out for the lack on interest in assisting, Dr. Masood was not happy I questioned the operation. I found a doctor that cares, is attentive and isn't to busy for patients (Dr. Navin Verma), I went on a Thursday afternoon, by the following Tuesday he had already done an in-home study and prescribed a machine for me to assist with my apnea, all of which was covered under two co-pays/visits and 4 business days. read more

I have been fighting with this office to take responsibility for the tests they order and it has taken nearly a year to get tritated for sleep apnea. Then, they don't take responsibility for ordering the machine. Their phone system sucks, they don't return calls. They induce stress. I would not recommend coming here. I husband waited over 3 hours to see the doctor for the first time. Was told the doctor was running late because he likes to have in-depth conversations with clients. Which is fine but then schedule appropriately. After the appointment was husband was told to come in a get an at home sleep study device. We did. Waited 2 weeks after returning it and still hadn't even heard from them. I had to call and was then told that it was reviewed and that their was an order for something else put in but couldn't go into detail. Later that day my husband finally got a call and they told him that the results showed that his oxygen levels go down into the high 60's at night!!!!!! Your O2 levels should never go below 90. They said they had to get approval from insurance for him to come in and have a sleep study done in person to find the levels they need to set it at. That was back on 4/12/2021. It is now 5/4/2021 and still nothing. After calling to check I was told that insurance never got the fax for the authorization. Still waiting on the authorization to go through but now my husband got a call to schedule a follow up with the doctor. It is like they don't even know what is going on with him. You would think someone with an O2 level of high 60's at night would be a high priority, but nope. Tried calling twice today and get voicemail accounts. read more

Waited for over an hour for Dr. Debeor after paying my copay being called back for weight and blood pressure then being sat back in the lobby.....after finally being called back I waited an additional 20 minutes in the room. I asked if i needed to reschedule again after the doctor canceled the first appointment and was met with a rude medical assistant....while sittting in the room I was able to read a patients entire chart as it was left up on the computer for all to see clearly a violation of hippa. I have been going to CFP for about 10 years and see Dr. Haim. Much as I like him I feel I must move on. This group is too difficult to get an appointment, get RX refills etc. I had an appointment on the 8th and was to have been seen back in 2 weeks following a CT scan. I am told now that I cannot be seen until Feb 5th. I was standing right at the check in desk on the 8th and all the receptionist did was take my f/up sheet and tell me someone would call which they had not as of the 14th. I had to call myself and get the appt. Dr. Haim is a victim of his own group. This practice is way too big, busy and nonchalant to care anymore. I would not recommend anyone go here! I appreciate Dr. Haim but I can't tolerate this practice's behavior and attitude toward their patients especially long term patients. read more

first of all, it is out of character for me to write about something so personal. Food? No problem, but healthcare? hmmm.. Here it goes.. (as I write this, I realize I need to write at least 3 positive reviews of other businesses so the Bad Karma doesn't stay with me long) I've been a patient for 7 years. Up until the 5th year, I saw the doctor twice a year, then only once a year. Looking back that's 11-13 visits. Of those visits, there was an issue 9 times, either before the Medical assistant came out to get me or after the doctor sent me up front to make another appt or pay my bill. Let's talk about this visit's comedy of errors. (Clearly I say that tongue in cheek, as I'm young and fairly competent. I'm hoping that those who are really sick or their caregivers read this!) 2 months before appt: received a postcard with info about appt. things going well. 4 weeks before appt: called office to inquire about rescheduling. was told that I have 2 appts scheduled with them. one for the 7th and one for the 26th. At this point I had to ask the person to look into why I had two appts, because clearly, she was ready to move on to her next call or task. She then realized, that the Feb 7th appt was for LAST year. That's right, their system doesn't make it clear to the employee what year the appt is booked for. Boy are we on the right track, uhm...no. Fortunately, they were able to see me on the 6th. Success, appt changed. night before appt: received call from their IVR reminding me of next day's appt. back on track... day of appt: (here's where it gets good) I get to office @7:52, enter and sign in. Front Desk Clerk (FDC) tells me that Dr is not there that day and that my appt is tomorrow. it's early, I've been NPO (nothing consumed orally) for 12 hours, I check my calendar and assume I'v made a mistake. I'll admit I've done that before.. shown up to the right place on the wrong date. Shoot, I'm glad I did it when I bought my car... but that's another story. so I go back to the car, and start searching Yelp for a place to grab some grub. I get about 6 blocks away and who calls? Our friend the FDC, who tells me that my appt IS today and could I come back. OK once I get back it's about 8:11am. my appt was at 8am. uneventful until I get into treatment room. Some random Caucasian lady (my doctor is a an older middle eastern man) walks in and starts asking me questions. At which point, I'm like "Either I'm in the wrong room or you're in the wrong room, 'cause you're not Dr. Masood". She then introduces herself as a new Nurse Practitioner or something like that and that she's working with Dr. Masood. OK, thanks for the clarification. Masood finally comes in and spends, literally 3 minutes with us. I'm told during the appt that i need a sleep study, a lab test and a follow up appt. OK, they hand me an RX for the labs, and the MA tells me the F/U will be in 2-3 weeks. I then clarify that the Doctor stated that the F/U should be 2-3 weeks after the sleep study. She thinks about it for a moment and then agrees. REALLY? do I work here or do you? in a later phone call she explains to me that it takes 2-3 weeks for the doctor to "read" the sleep study and that's why he asked for the follow up to be pushed out for so long. ( I'm actually getting exhausted again just reliving this story, but I feel that they need to be called out. Also, I am going to copy and past this and send it to the BBB) As a good and diligent patient, since they didn't mention anything more about the sleep study, I figured, it was up to me to contact my insurance and do all that leg work myself. We'll find out later this was my second incorrect assumption of the day. My insurance provides me with a location, I contact the location and they can do it tonight. Wait, I don't have a prescription. That should have been my first clue. So after a half a day of phone tag ( I was the only one playing apparently) with at least 3 CFPulmonary staff members and 2 voicemails, the nurse (actually an MA) calls me back. This is where she explains that all i had today was a face to face meeting and that the doctor's notes needed to be written up, then documentation needs to be compiled to present to my insurance BEFORE an appt for the sleep study is made. Otherwise, I may get charged for the study. By the way, they are happy to do the sleep study in one of their facilities, neither of which are within 15 miles of my house (the one my insurance told me about is 1.9 miles) The MA apologizes profusely and explains the entire process to me. explanation takes about 4 minutes. Apparently, according to her, this is something that the Nurse Practitioner should have told me. Great, that was 6 hours and 15 phone calls ago. Thanks. Needless to say, if you had a problem with a vendor/store 70% - 82% of the time, you'd stop patronizing them right? Guess what I decided today? I hope this helps you . My problem is i have been seeing Dr. Vu for about 3 years now & i'am still having the same asthma problems & nothing he gives me seems to work! plus the meds he does provide is never covered by insurance program, its always some expensive meds they won't cover, plus he never stays in the room for more than 5 minutes and he's gone. He once told me i didn't hear any wheezing & i'am thinking you never checked! If that man listened to my chest, i sure didn't notice it LOL. This Pulmonary group was recommended to me about acquire the sleep apnea device "Inspire". The first visit I arrived early as I always do to only have to wait almost two hours before the doctor came through the door as I was leaving. My second appointment of just a few days ago, I asked when I arrived early if the nurse practitioner was on time. The receptionist told that she was. After an hour waiting, I was called to sit in a room. The nurse who started to take my vitals told me that she had two other patients ahead of me. This practice is totally unacceptable to me. I expect when I make an appointment, that that is my time and I expect the person who I should be seen by, respect my time as much I am to respect theirs. I left and stopped at the reception desk to tell them I would never be returning. There only excuse was, I am sorry! I needed a Pulmonary Dr, and was given Dr, Leisha number. Make the appointment with (his) girl. Wait 3 1/2 hours in a room and no Dr. Leave the room to go home and everyone goes to lunch. Great. Drive home wait 2 hours and Dr. Leisha calls to say he is sorry for the mix-up,and he will have his nurse get back to me. Over a month and 1/2 go by and I call back.Again with( his girl) 2 weeks go by and I've left 4 message. she finally calls back. I make the mistake of asking for an appointment with Dr. L. so that I'm not waiting 3-4 to see him. She informs me that is his time line and everyone waits. Don't think so. I called my Intern back and told him my experience and he tells me he heard that. Sadly when My Dr. gave me Dr. Learish number I looked his and his office up and the same reviews were the same as I'm writing. No -one to blame but myself. so stress out. read more

When they first call you back they shove you in a small area along with other patients to get weight, BP etc, where everyone in that room can hear your demographics, then walking to the exam room, there are boxes of office supplies, paper and lab supplies lining the hallways. I had a chest X-ray that was fine, but the tech had no personality. Then I had the Pulmonary function test, the young girl tech was conversing with the other staff on hand. She left me sitting in the booth wondering what was happening next, I had a pincher thing on my nose and hose in my mouth (got a visual on that?) uncomfortable to say the least, 3 different breathing tests to do, each 3 times, never offered me water or a tissue. The tech YELLED at me to breathe, breathe, breathe. Condemned me for not doing as she asked, whispered something to the other young staff members and then resumed my tests. Once complete she walked me back to the exam room, where I waited for Dr. He came in about 15 min after I got there, the staff lost my file and the Dr had to ask for my hospital records. The office is a complete mess, unorganized to say the least. He needs to move out of the office to a bigger office building with lots of storage closets and leave everybody behind and start over with new staff. one more thing, My appt was 2:15pm. I didn't get out of there till 4:30pm, entirely too long for seeing the Dr for all of 5 minutes. read more

I love my Dr. It is Dr. Guerrero, I advise anyone to go to him, I even told him I loved him yesterday, He is a great doctor and really cares about his patients. Been so nice to my famity, is just a warm man. He is the most pleasant man in the world I love him, but yesterday I was told by him himself that we would proceed with a procedure ( a surgery) the following week. Well for insurance, I had to have all these consents to move on with the procedure. I worked my very hard for these consents, I begged, then to be told I needed a consent for pre-op from my primary via insurance, I pleaded with this office that it was important and they are always very busy and that the doctor wanted to proceed with my surgery next week. (This office worked with me and got me in for the pre-op check up so nicely and immediately.) Anyhow, he said so to me in the office in front of a transcriber that I would be in the following week. I was elated because this procedure would mean so much to me. I called the office immediately the next morning and did not receive an answer nor a return phone call, then I called again and was given to voicemail yet again. Well I finally worked around the office crap ( as one might phrase it) and finally got in touch with the scheduler for the Dr. after around 6 hours and she informs that he has no time for me next week. I beg her on the phone and I plead for her to get me in and she proceeds to tell me he is off not only Monday, but Thursday and Friday and only ICU was done on Tuesday and on Wednesday that he is booked at three but has a meeting at 5. So he is unable to follow through with his commitment to me to have the surgery done next week. It may seem petty because I made an appointment for a different week because I want this surgery done, but when a doctor gets your hopes up and you go home and go to the ends of the Earth to make everything possible to occur, like getting pre-op authorization and cardiology okays so you are ready for surgery immediately. It kind of hurts when the person on the other side of the phone has no sympathy and tells you she will send an e-mail to him and is just a mean person. It makes you wonder if the people behind the scenes seem to care. I understand that they have to deal with people all day but gosh I didn't even get a return phone call until I made the call and maneuvered from one person to another. I just feel that if you are going to give someone hope, don't destroy it or make it even worse by having someone who does not not care answer the phone. I don't mind the waits, my doctor is wonderful, but the staff could use a little readjustment because they are dealing with people who are sick and have problems that are not easy to deal with every day. I just wish that the staff responded to phone calls in a timely manner especially if the patient is told the surgery is happening the following week and was caring. Doesn't caring still hold some kind of stature in the medical field. read more

About two years ago, I went to CFPG because I needed an updated sleep study performed. The doctor was nice and attentive but the follow-up after the sleep study was nonexistent. Every time I would call to follow-up with their respiratory department regarding the status of my test results and new prescription my call would go to voicemail where the message states you will receive a call back in 24-48 hours; the problem is they would never return my call. It took me countless attempts over several months to finally get a copy of my prescription. My insurance company is now requesting an updated copy of my prescription before they will pay for a new cpap machine. It seems that nothing has improved in their process over the past year and a half as I am experiencing the exact same difficulties; no one answers the phone and I leave a voicemail and no one calls me back. This is absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced and I would not recommend this practice under any circumstances. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place like the plague. read more
