ROBERT HANUL CHONG, M.D., is the -severe- problem and DOCTOR TO AVOID at this practice. Also to be…read moreAVOIDED is "Practice Manager" CHRISTINE "TINA" ROBISON who spouted vile insults at us, made dangerous threats, and is highly retributive of any request for a decent STANDARD OF CARE. (I have a recording of her vitriol and threats - she's literally SHRIEKING.) --- DR. ROBERT CHONG -IS- THE BIGGEST PROBLEM --- Dr. Robert Chong ENDANGERED OUR CHILD not once but TWICE. Does not listen to patient history - refused to read a very brief description of progression of symptoms in our 5-year-old over a 6-day period and simply dismissed our concerns. REFUSED TO DO TESTING - because he didn't know the patient history, which, IF HE HAD READ IT, would see our child had required 6 prior visits to doctors this year for serious illnesses including STREP (twice!) and PNEUMONIA. On the first negative episode last October, I had to browbeat Robert Chong into prescribing an antibiotic for an obvious upper respiratory infection in the lungs - despite his trying to dismiss the phlegmy cough as "asthma," a condition our child does not have. But that's an easy way to get rid of a patient, and Robert Hanul Chong seems more concerned with polishing his bona fides than actually performing a proper diagnosis. On this most recent visit, after refusing tests, and having NO CLUE as to the problem except that it was vaguely "viral" and didn't need anything. We barely got him to agree to an anti-emetic because our child had been VOMITING FOR SIX (6) DAYS, but that was no problem for ROBERT HANUL CHONG, and again had to be browbeaten into a prescription for this very minor comfort during the "he will just get better" days to come. Here is a jaded guy who just PHONES IT IN. Maybe he is quiet-quitting his job? I sent him a message following up on the FAILURE of his "just wait, the kid will get better" plan of inaction, and I pointed out that he had IGNORED PATIENT HISTORY - I guess he's way to smart to need to know that... And the response from his bestest buddy, "Practice Manager" CHRISTINE "TINA" ROBISON, was to call me and berate me and threaten me and insult me and goad me - ALL WHILE I HAVE A VERY SICK 5-YEAR OLD that Robert Chong says is going to be just fine and dandy without ANY testing, without ANY treatment. I guess we are IMAGINING the vomit and the phlegmy cough and the RATTLE IN OUR CHILDS LUNGS when I listen with a stethoscope. Oh and THE LOW OXYGEN SATS dipping to below 95 now. And the ELEVATED HEART RATE at 140+. That is all just IMAGINED, RIGHT Doctor Chong? If this is how you want YOUR CHILD -NOT- TREATED, then seek out ROBERT HANUL CHONG to do absolutely NOTHING and tell you it's "asthma" or some other lazy excuse of a diagnosis based on who-knows-what, but certainly -NOT- on patient history. BIG PROBLEM by a doctor who is able enough but JUST DOES NOT CARE - and if you dare to point out he isn't providing a proper STANDARD-of-CARE, he wants to see you not get care from any other doctor in half a dozen other clinics. CHONG is VINDICTIVE. Do you want to deal with that? CHONG is RETRIBUTIVE. You like that in a provider? CHONG does NOT CARE. Good luck with that one... And this location's practice manager, CHRISTINE "TINA" ROBISON, spews highly toxic verbal venom if you dare try to get decent treatment. ANYBODY THINK THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT? If so, Wow, just Wow.

Warning about ROBERT HANUL CHONG, M.D. I honestly felt my VERY SICK 5-year-old nephew was not…read moreserved to anywhere near the claimed 'standard of care' that AdventHealth promises in its 'Patient's Bill of Rights,' which it posts EVERYwhere in its clinics and hospitals. No attention was paid to the patient history of the immediate illness that my sister so fastidiously kept notes on. Only cursory exam by Dr. Robert Chong. Yes, he's nice enough to the children, except when it comes to caring enough to learn the history, and doing testing. Also pretty scant about prescribing treatment, which is a good idea to avoid treatment when he doesn't bother to find out the likely cause of the illness - in this case REPEATED illnesses over a short period of time. My review is based on more than one visit by my sister and her husband with their lovely son, and I've had to deal with the aftermath of tears and pain from a very sick child. During these visits, each time, Dr. Chong has just gotten progressively worse over the years. Dr. Robert Chong is NOT A CARING PHYSICIAN in my opinion. Maybe he has lost his desire to put in the effort, or maybe something else, but I do not recommend him after these visits and repeated disappointment. It's very sad to see. So if it's a wellness visit, MAYBE your child will be fine, though don't count on Robert Hanul Chong M.D. to notice any problems, because that's unlikely. And if your child is SICK, then STAY AWAY. Find another doctor. Our family's frustration with a real lack of concern from Dr. Chong should serve as a CAUTIONARY TALE - one of sad facts.
