You'd go in for a ROOT CANAL and come out a week later, badly bruised and whimpering. I made it through almost 40 years without major dental problems, and then the last 5 or so it seems like I've been in the chair every other month. Dr. Wright performed my third RC today, and I couldn't be happier. I opted for the nitrous oxide, not because I have a particular fear of dentistry or the pain of the needle. I never had that option in the Air Force and think it's an awesome addition. Sure you feel the sting of the needle and the burning as the anesthetic spreads. You. Just. Don't. Care. The procedure was painless, and I was out of the chair less than an hour after I walked in the door. I guess in the past it used to be much worse, but nowadays there's no need to fear this procedure. You know what's worse than a root canal? The excruciating pain my cracked tooth was causing me before Dr. Wright fixed me up. Come here, you'll leave numb but happy!

She is in pain today and last night but the oral surgeon can't see her for over a month. she called Dr Deal for antibiotics she refused because no active infection??? How did she know she didn't look. So because she is poor and on Medicaid they truly just said we aren't doing anything. My wish is that people who have no compassion would just stop treating patients. My daughter has 2 degrees and smart but because of the child birth she can't work. It makes me sick to think you can treat people like this! Shame on you and that office. I was choosing them for my new dentist because I'm here to help her with her son but nope that's not going to happen. When in the world did folks lose compassion? She just needs antibotics to help hold off the pain until the oral surgeon can see her?? O, they did offer to send her to the dentist who charged 800.00 because he won't pull a tooth unless they are asleep now that's nuts. I had to pay when we got there - he won't do just Novocain nor gas they have to go to sleep for maybe 20 minutes or less. Another question when did a dentist stop pulling teeth? I'm beyond frustrated and angry.

I was scheduled for a crown a couple of weeks ago. I went in and as the dental assistant was preparing to do my impression, she put entirely too much of the "goop" on the apparatus. I noticed it was a lot and thought it would be ok, but I was wrong. There was so much it started going down my throat (also got in my hair) and made me gag and cough for a full 10 minutes, trying to get the stuff out of my throat. I coughed up the blue stuff for about 2 hours after I left the office. Needless to say, after the traumatic impression try, I told them I wanted to reschedule. They pretended to be concerned and I left with the office manager apologizing and saying she would call me to reschedule. Imagine my surprise when I don't receive a call from the dentist, or office staff to reschedule. The office manager was nice enough to send me a letter via USPS offering me their services for 30 more days, but thankfully I have found a good Christian dentist at another practice I will be seeing from now on.

We worked out to have it removed a week from that visit. They gave me the needed antibiotics to keep any infection down for the week, which helped with the pain surprisingly quickly. On the day of the apointment, I arrived 39 minutes early and only had to wait 5 minutes to be called back! The Dentist and Assistant were very informative on everything that was going to happen, including my wife by keeping her informed as well, as she accompanied me just an earshot outside the procedure room . The tooth came out without a hitch and I felt COMPLETELY CONFIDENT in the staff in every step of the process. From the time I first called to set up the appointment to the time I left after the procedure, everyone was completely professional, pleasant to talk to, as well as extremely caring. Everything went very smoothly, quickly and painlessly.
