We expect them to recreate the best version they can of our former selves. If a dentist does not allow you to explain what your expectations are, then you should leave. It's been such a while since the last time I went to a dentist. I allowed myself to forget the general mentality most dentist have. If you are unhappy with a denture or partial, they make. It is your fault and not the dentist who made it. I had a temporary denture made here that was (3xs) larger than my mouth. I've tried different glues, but nothing will hold the denture in place. It falls out of my mouth each time because it is too large. When I called the dentist office to say, "I was not going to keep it and wanted to bring it back". The receptionist was untruthful about several things. Dr. Fulmer called me and accused me of saying things I had not said. He did not care that he designs a denture I could not use. The receptionist asked me "If I were going to pay for the denture"? I asked he "Would she pay for something she could not use"? Sure, let me just throw money away and walk around without a denture because it was so poorly made. This is not the dentist you want to use to do any type of cosmetic work on your mouth. I am so glad I figured this out before I proceeded to have permanent teeth put in place.

See a real dentist!!!!! I have had the worst experience with this Dentist. Sadly I have had lots of dental work n life and it's never been bad except the normal pain of course. I went in for a lower denture the website suggested credit cards for medical so I applied for one and guessed the cost. When I went in I wanted to talk about implants because lower dentures are difficult to wear. Everyone was all helpful and signed me up for financing to get the more expensive denture so I could then get the implants which were 5000 more dollars and they said I didn't qualify for enough financing at that time so I agreed to a denture that cost 1200$ more than the basic one when I went in to get the work done the financing was pending and they had not told me when I came in that same morning so I had to call the lender myself and straighten it out which I did in their office and they approved me for enough to cover the extractions dentures and implants but no one wanted to talk to me about that. I tried to ask the dentist but he just wanted to get to pulling teeth because they are a bulk business so they don't spend more time than necessary with a patient. While he was pulling my teeth he told me that I had to quit smoking or the very expensive implants would not integrate into my bone. Not something I was told when I agreed to pay extra money so I could get the posts and I would love to quit smoking but it's just not that easy then the Dentist who never bothered introduce himself told me that it didn't matter to him what I did if I smoked or got implants or whatever he didn't care and it wouldn't interfere with his "evening television". I tried to say something about the scam they had pulled on me and he made fun of the sound I made because I was having my teeth pulled he told maybe his two year old could understand me. He pulled my teeth and left and refused to discuss the treatment plan with me at all.
