Still 5/5 stars for this location, however be prepared. Their typically clean brick and mortar bathrooms are currently closed due to the construction for phase 2 of the park. A few porta-potties are spread around the grounds. Mid week be prepared for a little more dust and noise due to construction. Mountain House residents are very lucky to have this park at our disposal, it has everything. Softball Field, Tennis, Basketball and Bocce Ball Courts, 12 Picnic tables with BBQ pits, water fountains, huge open space to play football and lot's of climbing structures, swing's and slides, Plus, it's all very well kept and filled with lot's of Palm Tree's and flowers. I come here every time I'm on the Creek Trail as it's so close. The water fountains here are pretty awesome too as not only is it the main attraction with Children playing in the hot Summer months but also perfect to cool off after a long run. Yes, I have indeed ran through them fully clothed after a session on the trail in the scorching heat. read more

How cool is it that in a growing town of less than 15,000 residents that we can have a park of this caliber. The centerpiece is right past the parking lot where there is a great playground adjacent to a large interactive water fountain. This area is packed with kids during the summer. The fountain is made of a rubbery material so it is safe for the kids plus it recycles and chlorinates the water to keep everyone safe and save water. Overlooking this area is a large shaded area with tables for people to have picnics or just to sit. Beyond this area is a large open grassy area with trees along both sides. In this area is also a nice set of bathrooms. In what I call the "middle" area beyond is another small playground area with some challenging obstacle type climbing apparatus. I can't describe it well so I won't even try. Just believe me when I tell you it's cool. Then get this, a full court basketball court and four tennis courts, all with user operated lighting so you can play well into the night. Summers here push well into the 100's many days and full court games and tennis matches go well into the night. Then at the far end is yet another open area and a nice baseball diamond with a large backstop and shaded area for parents to watch. The place is very well kept and very attractive. It's about a 1 mile walk from my place to get here and you better believe I take advantage of it. My run routes go through there, take walks over and through there, the kids play in the fountains and playgrounds. As the town grows, this park has two more phases and will continue to be the focal point of Mountain House. I would give the the place actually 4.99 stars. The only ding against it is that parking in the fountain playground area is not all that adequate but that will change as the next phases are done. read more

I hadn't been to this park since Mountain House was a brand new development and after seeing it today, I wish Tracy had a park this nice. Great park with walking trails, play areas and a water park for the kids; picnic tables with BBQ pits and LOTS of shady trees to keep you cool on those hot valley days. What a nice place! I went here on 8/23/14 for my company picnic and was impressed. The place is huge and well maintained. I loved all the beautifully maintained palm trees (my favorite tree). There is plenty of parking. There were several events happening all at once from a princess bday party to a gathering for Friends of Guyana and still enough room for a very large gathering. You can play basketball, bocce ball, go for a nice long walk. There are a lot of fun things for kids to keep them entertained as well. There are other parks closer to our home but I don't mind driving to take my kids here cause not only it is clean but no matter how it gets pack during the weekend, there is always space to park and a place to sit and relax while watching your kids having a great time! read more

Very large park with multiple options for families of all ages (although some of the play areas are too far apart for you to keep track of both at the same time). We like to go play bocce ball here (bring your own balls). There is a basketball court, a tennis court, and large grassy areas (there may even be a baseball diamond...I don't remember). There is plenty of street parking, and the park is beautiful. If you live in the area this is a great place for a park day. read more

Warning: Be careful letting your kids play in the water and then on the play equipment. There is a structure with a hole in the middle and in the hole is a rope. My daughter climbed up there, slipped and fell right down the hole which is a 5 foot drop. She was ok thank goodness. I've heard of three other kids falling down the same hole. Other than that it's a great park and great water feature. read more

Came here on a weekday to unwind. Not too many people and not too many kids. This park is next to the Mountain House library. Space is good too. Not too big of a park but you can bbq here, read a book, or hang out with friends and family. There is street parking and a parking lot. All i can hear is the wind blowing through the trees, very relaxing. No city noise over here which is really nice. read more

The central community park is very very very huge and there are three main parks. Not only is this huge park big but there is also a water splash area with fountains of water to help cool off during the summer. The Central Park also holds lots of community activities which are always fun. Especially living a long time in mountain house the community park is very relaxing to just lay on the grass and look at the sun. If your someone who is new to mountain house check out the community park to attend cool activities or just relax on the benches. read more

The spray park was amazing. Also if you walk back by basketball courts there is a cool double swing. My friend and I even went on it and had a blast. The playground equipment is kinda lacking and the teeter totter was broken but the kids loved it anyways. Water fountains were all broken also. So bring lots of water read more

My kids LOVED this park. It's super fun during the summer months. My only complaint is that the splash water pad flooded in the middle. I'm sure kids don't mind but it had me worried for my youngest. All in all its a beautiful place with shade and a fun park. Some of the play equipment was a little scary and advanced for my kids, but once again, they had fun. We went to this park yesterday to take advantage of the water feature to beat the heat. We were excited to go for the first time. Our excitement was cut short when within a few minutes of being there a little boy picks up a broken water wand and chucked it right at me, hitting me in the arm. I looked around for his parents or any adult who might have been supervising him but there was no one. There were numerous water wands being played with in the fountain, one kid was swinging it around and almost clocked my 4 year old in the face. Whenever they broke they were just thrown on the ground and left there along with other trash. The bathrooms were disgusting, toilet paper thrown all over the place, pee on the floor. I was thoroughly disgusted. I'm not sure if it's always like this or if I just happened to have the pleasure of dealing with unsupervised children and litter but, we won't be going back. It's sad, this park is beautiful and the play structures are unique and fun but we won't be back. read more
