Thinking it would harden with more time, I didn't contact the company. They only warrant their work for 1 year. I had not noticed their short warranty timeline. It was after a year I notified them about the grout. They came out and replaced the grout that had lifted. Grout was still soft as if too much water was used with the material. Last October I noticed quite a few pavers were loose. I notified them and they repaired that issue. Contacted a couple of weeks ago to let them know still having issues with grout. They offered to repair but at a cost of $3540.00!! Will be having someone else do repairs as I feel price is ridiculous since this should not have happened within 2 years and pretty much from the get go. They may be good on concrete jobs but definitely would not recommend on pavers. Had Chaparral lay 702 sq ft of pavers in backyard 7 years ago without any issues.

They have been repairing two of my neighbors decks for the last few weeks. They left an open deck on a hillside without a barrier or warning tape. They removed the gate on my adjacent property without notifying me which allowed direct access to hillside deck with no railing for four days while they went to another job. I was out of town. Attached is a photo of what I found when I got home. This is how the DeckTech team left the job site. If a neighborhood child went through that gate and fell off my neighbor's deck it could have been disasterous. I asked them serveral times to reinspect my deck which is required for warranty. He delayed me for two weeks stating each time he would be out the following week. I received an email this morning stating I should go to his competetor. Maybe you should as well if he too busy until mid next year. The spelling errors are from his email. Ron McKenna (owner) email to me: "I would [not] be able to provide a deck inspection for you.
