Extremely Unprofessional. Driver was LATE. When I called to find out why my teenage sons car had not been picked up within the time frame he gave me, he said he had a late night and was just getting out of bed... Needed my wife's vehicle towed to the dealership because her key broke and the computer chip was lost. The car wouldn't start without it the computer chip. I have roadside assistance through Allstate. I called them up around 10:30am on this day. When it was all said and done, they told me the tow truck would be there around 12:02pm. Around 12:15pm I called the tow company and the guy say the driver should be there any minutes. A few minutes later Allstate send out an automated call seeing if the service was in process or had been completed. It wasn't so I was dispacted to an agent. I told what was up and they put me on hold and called the tow company. They were told the same things. Around 12:30pm the tow truck drive called me. He asked if I still needed the service. I told him I did. He said he was out in Mableton dropping off a vehicle and would be on the way within 20 minutes. I called Allstate and told them what was going on. They got in contact with the tow truck driver and he told them that he would be arriving to my location in 15 minutes. I told Allstate that it would take him a minimum of 30 minutes to reach me. I asked for a manager. The agent got the manager. He asked me how could he help me. I asked him to recap what the agent told him. He did so and ended with "the drive said he was going to be at my location in 15 minutes." At this point I had been on the line with Allstate for 16 minutes. I told them how the tow truck dispatch people told the agent and me that truck would be there any minute going back to 12:15pm. For whatever reason, Allstate kept faith in this tow company by saying over and over that the drive said he would be there in 15 minutes. I pointed out that I had been on call with them for over 15minutes and no tow truck. The manager finally put me on hold and found another provider. While on hold with Allstate, the tow truck driver sent me a TEXT message stating he had to CANCEL the service. Stating that where I was located was out of his service area. He sent another one stating he was not on time so they would pay him. When the manager came back on the line I told him this and he acted surprise that one of their vendors would do such a thing. Yeah okay. Avoid Central City Towing as you can see, they will lie, and then cancel on you even though you hadn't done anything wrong. read more

My motor home lost brakes and i wanted to go back home (300 miles away in S.C.) Central City Towing was there in 40 mins, hooked up and on my way! Recommend them for light med and heavy towing. read more

I was driving home from work and just passed the Lee Rd exit on I-20 when my car just decided to shut off on me. My friend had given me a central city card a few weeks prior. I called and talked to their dispatcher who was very caring and concerned about my situation, He informed me that he would have a driver at my location in about 30 mins, and that he would call to check on me in about 15. The tow driver actually got to me in under 25 mins and the dispatcher DID call to check on me. The driver was very professional and even took me home before dropping off my car at the repair facility. All in all, I will recommend Central City Towing to any of my friends in need. read more
