I made an appointment online, which was super easy and convenient. My stylist was the amazing Ed Jesse, and I cannot say enough good things about him! When I arrived, I was warmly greeted and offered water, coffee, or a mimosa. The salon itself is so nice inside; it felt glamorous while still having the cute Shelby charm. The staff was super professional and Ed made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Of course I'm always nervous to go to new people, but Ed gave me the cut and color of my dreams! He listened to exactly what I wanted, and he definitely executed. I was surprised by how quick he was, especially with highlights, and they turned out beautiful. I wanted a good bit of length off as well, and he gave me a haircut that I love! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area, and I highly recommend this salon for anyone looking for a great place to be pampered!

Inside, they've done a pretty cool job utilizing such an open space - it's broken up into sections where individual stylists have their own waiting/seating areas. The salon has a modern edge and plays an eclectic, yet good blend of music. It's not super fancy but it's also not your local barber shop. I quickly learned that "Joey" was not in fact a woman, not that it mattered, but I do prefer female stylists. I was duped by a friend so that I would try something new. He was friendly, not overly talkative like some hair dressers can be and turned my misshapen hair into something fairly stylish. He did a thorough job at the shampoo station and took his time to cut my hair. The best part was that a wash and cut was only $15. You can't beat that with a bat! They do take credit cards which I prefer over cash. He also took me as a walk in, which I really appreciated. So yes, Joey worked a little magic on my hair and I would probably let him cut it again. The salon is such a vibe as well as my stylist! It's so comforting and I felt welcomed the second I walked in the door. Grace was amazing! She consulted my hair and asked so many questions about what I was looking for and what my goal was. I showed her my vision board and she delivered!
