I discovered this place a few months ago and have found my forever barber. The cut is always perfect, every detail is spot on, the time that Jimmy takes, his passion, and the vibe all combine to make this place truly top-notch. The shop is all you could ask for, authentic barber chairs, great conversation, tunes playing in the background, and a fantastic haircut and shave. I'll never go anyplace else.

I only needed a simple trim and am super wary of folks who get excited when they see how long my hair is. I complimented the hair of a family friend (with hair similar to mine), and she said she walked in Sensational with no appointment and walked out pleased. I did the same. Walked in and while one very sweet stylist held my adorable baby, the other one trimmed my curls. Lovely and even. Best of all, they only charged me TEN BUCKS. Yes. I kid you not. Now, I am from NYC and live in Miami Beach. These days I can barely get a freakin' cup of coffee for less than 5 bucks. Have you ever heard of a $10 cut? Shakin' my head with wonder. If you happen to be visiting your family in the Rappahannock/Warren County area (or if you're crazy and live there) and need some hair care, go see these folks. There's a Chinese take out next door that ain't half bad either!

They booked me an appointment with Trish, and I must say, I couldn't be happier with the result! I knew I needed a bit removed, as my ends were very damaged and had to go. I got a great cut, and a nice color as well. My hair feels so much healthier & the cut and color are just what I was hoping for. I thought it was going to be difficult finding a new stylist, after my gal for the last 7 years moved away, but who knew I'd find her right across the street from my church! The salon was very clean, and the staff were all very friendly too. I highly recommend them.

They were able to fit us in the same day, but only for pedicures. Then when we got there they were able to do both manis and pedis, which was very much appreciated by us. The spa is so serene and the staff were wonderful--they were very gentle in their treatments, which is a change from salons where you feel like you're being rushed to relax and then move on. They do not have massage chairs, but you don't miss them as the whole experience is relaxing. There are two pedicure and manicure spots in a separate room, so you feel like you're in your own private spa. They have a large selection of polish colors to choose from and they also offer various scented lotions. It was a wonderful experience and one my mom and I will talk about for a long time. I do have one suggestion--I was very comfortable during my pedicure, but I could have been even more comfortable if I was able to lay my head back to relax more. So maybe having more pillows to provide head and neck support for people who are taller than your seats would be a good idea.
