Let me start by saying, I've never attended this church, however, there is a Before & After School…read moreChildcare ran from it, and that is where my encounter with this church began. The woman who drives the van for the Childcare has a nasty habit of honking at people in the school parking lot & honked at me for the 3rd time last week. I decided to follow the van & try to get the daycare number off the side so I could call & complain to her boss. She drove over 40 in the school zone, and I know that because that's how fast I was going to keep up. I was unable to get the number off the van, but to my surprise, she turned into a church parking lot less than a mile from the school. I got the phone number off a giant sign out front of the church and called it immediately. A woman answered, rudely, and started asking "Who is this?!" over and over. I finally told her I was the lady she honked at and she started telling me how I blocked the bus line & was creating a safety hazard. I called her out for driving 40 in a school zone & she promptly hung up on me. SO, I went to the churches Facebook & posted a review similar to this one, so far. That's when the pastor, or whoever is responsible for the churches Facebook page, started commenting on my review. I heard everything from "We are providing space to this daycare but are not affiliated with them" to "I can see that you are a "right" fighter and not a "peace" maker." They even compared the childcare in their church to Girl Scouts selling cookies in front of Walmart. After a while, they ended up deleting only their side of the comments. There only one woman from the church that stood up & apologized for their insane behavior. And then this morning, I got an email from Facebook saying my review had been deleted by them for not focusing on the core service of the place I was reviewing. Well guess what Forest Ridge Baptist Church? Yelp allows me to voice my honest & real opinion no matter what, and this is it! Good luck getting this "right" fighter's Yelp review deleted! It's nothing but facts & I've got the screen shots to prove it! Oh, and did I mention, the pastor magically went on and gave his own church a 5 star review on Facebook this weekend? Ha ha.
