I'm not sure if its because I've dined here at absurd times of 5am or earlier, but the food just tastes so good here! After a farewell to my grandparents who were off on holiday, my mum and I decided to get some (very) early breakfast here. I had a great tasting bagel which I had heated up for me, and a chocolate caramel slice (probably not ideal for 5am, but the lack of sleep affected me). Both were delicious, and to be honest it took a while to decide what to get, as they have a lot to choose from! I avoided having coffee this particular morning as I couldn't wait to get home and crash, but I can vouch for their flat whites- the couple of times I've had them have been really good. The staff here were quite good, at least for the early morning shift they were working! As far as decor goes, I like the sleek, modern look of the cafe- definitely a much-needed update at the international terminal. There are only a few tables to sit at right by the cafe, but if you're lucky the food court tables won't be too packed and you can find a seat easily. International travellers, if you're in a rush and need to go through security, don't fret- there's a Cafe Espresso after the security doors too. Win win!

They even sell steak pies at the McDonald's there! This little gem bakery sells a large selection of different pies, donuts, baked goods, sandwich, and other delicious goody!! Their food is delicious and fresh. They have won many awards for a number of their pies. Also, their apple pie was to die for. Pricing is fair and the portion is filling. The owners were really nice and friendly. And of course their coffee was amazing! Ever want some good pies, I recommend making the trip here!

At Richoux Patisserie you will find a large selection of sweet items and savoury items, both hot goods (pies and sausage rolls) and cold goods (filled rolls). It's no wonder Richoux Patisserie have won so many awards. Good on them for proudly displaying them in full view of everyone. They have obviously worked very hard to get to where they are today and after having had one of their sandwiches I can see they have. If you're after a quick bite on the run then I would recommend popping in here. There are so many options to choose from, there will be something here to satisfy everyone's taste buds.

The pastry was tasty and thin and there was heaps of filling in it ratio approx 20% pastry 80% filling. We had the Mince Potato Top pie and the Eds Signature Pork Belly with 5 Spice pie and both were so tasty! Completely different flavour to your standard bakery pies and more expensive but at approx $5 each it is worth it! We also tried the cream donuts which were fresh and divine but really sweet so a good thing they are finger sized. We got a couple of other goodies but too full to try them till later on but this is out new #1 fav bakery that we will definitely be going back to again. And in this is Eds coffee and cake , now this place is by no means fancy but it's clean and the staff are friendly . On a day where the weather was less than desirable, my tummy was saying "falafel "but my heart said loudly and firmly "pie "!! So having done a recon of this place the week before I knew exactly where to go to . I had eyed up the 5-spice pork belly previously so went straight for it . Priced at $5.80 it is on the expensive side for a pie and generally at that price you'd hope for it to be life changing ! And it was . With a flaky pastry top and a golden short pastry base , rich spiced gravy and morsels of pork belly it is delicious ! The pork belly in the pie did contain the fat and for me I put that aside as I'm not a huge fan . But after getting halfway thru there were also some small cubes of potato - a nice addition . Would I eat another one ? Yes , judging by the way there was a constant stream of workers stopping for a pie fix . Am I coming back ? Yes and yes !

With gorgeous pink and lime green outdoor furniture outside, it was a shame it was blocked by a massive bus shelter. Inside was a cute little café that had lots of amazing looking cakes. Large cakes, medium cakes, cupcakes and mini cupcakes. They also had a selection of savoury items, also Allpress coffee on offer. On the back wall they had a large selection of items to purchase such as cake decorations, pre-made coloured fondant icing, cupcake holders, also coffee beans for sale. Here I purchased a carrot cupcake and a mini humming bird cupcake! Both of them were divine! I was very pleased with my choices. I was also swaying towards the rocky road cupcake as that looked yummy, so ill certainly have to go back. As I was paying for the cupcakes I also noticed they did catering. Perfect if you have a party or corporate function coming up. There is street parking in this area that all appeared to be free. Alternatively you could park in Royal Oak mall just across the road.

It's like a grown up's lolly store. Specialising in slices, cupcakes and fancy cakes, everything is pink pink pink and looks absolutely delicious. The Cake Stall also offer catering for special occasions and provide savoury food as well as their delectable sweet treats. The only slight negative that can be said about the Cake Stall is that there isn't a huge range of gluten free options available. Beautifully packaged bundles of biscuits and cakes are available to take away, or alternatively you can stop and enjoy a sweet treat and coffee on the premises. There is an outdoor area at the front of the store, though to be honest it's not the nicest place to sit being out on the street, so grab a beautiful decadent cake and head to Cornwall Park and enjoy it there! Tip: Edible decorations and the like are also for sale at the Cake Stall.
