I have many examples but the most recent was our daughter & SIL's engagement party at the Country Club of the North. From the time I first discussed the flowers needed for the party to the delivery then the follow-up...Stellar Service and the arrangements were beautiful and were designed to model the upcoming wedding flowers. I live in KY, but needed to send a sympathy gift in Centerville. I checked out the websites of my options, and chose to call Centerville Florists. I called this morning with a general idea of a lantern with LED candle, silk flowers, a bow and a card. The lady I spoke with took all of my information...and there were a LOT of names on that card...and read it all back to me to verify the info was correct. I also asked for my invoice to be emailed to me, as well as some photos of the lantern before it was delivered. They took care of both and the lantern turned out BEAUTIFULLY! The phone was answered in a timely manner by a patient lady named Kate. I told her what I wanted to order and she checked on availability quickly, coming back to the phone after a brief hold to tell me of four possible choices based on size and price. I made my choice and she thoughtfully helped me compose the message of sympathy that I was trying to express. I had delivery concerns, not wanting to have a live arrangement sitting by a doorstep in the heat of the June day. Went with my wife to arrange for a silk floral arrangement and "throw" display for a young man's funeral. There were many selections and arrangements from which to choose, but they had the perfect one with the "Footprints in the Sand" story. Keith and Joe took care of everything for us... the display was delivered and set up next to the casket well before the service began, and the young man's parents were brought to tears with its beauty. Absolutely excellent service and quality. The arrangements are top notch and worth every penny. I used a FTD sire a couple of weeks ago and they dispatched the order to a florist on the north side of Dayton, HORRIBLE!! The quality was pitiful and the skill of the the arrangement was awful. I suggest going directly to a florist you are familiar with. The problem with FTD is you have no idea which florist gets the order and this doesn't always go over well obviously. The planter I ordered for a funeral was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I had spoken to Kate and asked for a specific color of cut flowers to be inserted. There were issues with bad weather affecting delivery, but they were on top of the logistics, and the planter was delivered as requested.
