But by far the most important way her precise touch and gentle technique have helped me is in injury recovery and encouraging muscle strengthening afterward. Twice I've injured my ankles and feet - a bad sprain and two breaks - and immediately called JoAnn. She knew just how much to do and when to do it, helping to restore blood flow and release contracture. I'm quite certain her work significantly sped up my recovery and prevented my body from seizing up. Her office feels safe and cozy and I almost always fall into a profoundly relaxed state in just a few minutes. Joann is very conscientious about understanding your health history and checking your preferences before beginning. Plus, she is super customer service oriented, giving you ample time to "come back" before going out into the world again and offering practical tips for things you can do yourself to maintain your muscular health.

Cute, clean, calming place inside with plants and chill music. I appreciated that Melissa checked in on me about the pressure and my preferences and I felt comfortable expressing my needs. For the sensory sensitive, sometimes the AC/heater whooshing is a little distracting but surely a wrong-temperature-room would be much more distracting and you can just focus on the massage and music as best you can. Very relaxing and was fighting not falling asleep. I will be coming back!

This may have been partially a hormonal coincidence, but the facial certainly helped. Michelle seemed knowledgeable and skilled. She assessed my skin and provided me with her assessment and some tips. The facial itself was relaxing. I'm just so thankful my skin is finally clear.

I…read moreoriginally had booked the Advanced Renewal facial but my esthetician Kayelyn actually said I didn't need that exact facial because my skin is still young as I'm not yet in my 30s. She instead recommended I do the YonKa dry skin facial which is actually cheaper than what I originally booked. I love that she picked what would be best for my skin without trying to upsell a more expensive facial. I'm not well versed in skin care so I really liked that Kayelyn walked me through everything she was doing and the reasons why. Most times you just lay there in silence and while I do like sometimes to just relax and fall asleep, I really appreciated the skin care education and I was still able to relax as well. But I feel like I have a better idea of what my skin needs and how I can achieve it. The only reason I'm rating this 4.5/5 stars is because I normally like some lip care during my facials and this was lacking that. I really liked the essential oil toner she used and ended up purchasing it afterwards. The scent is heavenly and made my skin feel great. I normally don't purchase skin care products after my facials but I really liked the YonKa brand products she used on my face. You should definitely head over to Love Face & Body Spa and have Kayelyn give you a facial! You won't regret it.

Totally different experience with Alyce. I didn't feel embarrassed, or uncomfortable, or tense. Score. On top of that, she doesn't just give you a massage, she understands the physiology behind what is causing your symptom and treats THAT. So I went from episodic Pain Level 9 spasms along with constant hip pain, to being fine. Score. The effect was immediate, although it took a couple days for the soreness from the spasms to completely resolve. Score. That was two weeks ago, and her "fix" continues to hold. Score. On top of that, I found her open and easy to talk with. And she has awesome pooches. Bonus. I'm very grateful that I took the chance and let her use her skills on me. I'll be back.
