I now live in Manhattan and still see him - it is worth it.

A physiatrist suggested cortisone or surgery after she read my MRI reported that indicated I had stenosis, a narrowing of the spine, and arthritis, etc. I opted to see Dr. Ting Denis Ching instead. He asked me not to take the cortisone because it would prevent the Tui Na from working. I am grateful that he insisted because he helped me recover completely and in less than 2 months. My back was already compromised long before I started working with Dr. Ching. I had had back surgery 15 years before this episode. It was not my first. With all previous episodes, Feldenkrais treatments helped me enormously. But with this particular episode, the Feldenkrais had little effect. Fortunately, Tui Na, performed by Dr. Ting, helped my body heal completely. I never needed cortisone or surgery. I am so grateful. A friend of mine who had been helped by Dr. Ting recommended him to me. My friend suffered from a knee injury for years. She tried several modalities. Nothing worked. A dancer friend of hers recommended Dr. Ting. He helped both of them recover completely. It's worth giving him a chance. Not all practitioners are made equal. Go to him! He is worth going out of your way.

At first I went through the pain medication route, which at the time the medical industry was handing out oxycodone like TicTac's. It seemed to work for a little while, but never got me back on my feet entirely. I'm cursed with the issue of not getting the benefit while still getting all the negative effects of the narcotic. A friend recommended Commons chiropractor center. Before I was injured, I wasn't a believer, I never thought it could help me. In fact, it took me almost 2 months of convincing actually walk into his office. I've been to two other chiropractors prior to that, and they were either too cautious or not strong enough to manipulate what they needed to because my work required a lot of heavy lifting and my muscles were tight . I have to say after the first visit, I noticed a dramatic difference. And it only got better after that. There must be 15 or 20 chiropractors between my home and commons chiropractor center. I tried a could have them until I followed my friend advice. Today I can confidently say I can live quite comfortably with minimal narcotics and I mean virtually nothing. He allowed me to live my life be there for my children, and now finally for my grandchild. Dr. Irwin has been a life changer experience for me. And if anyone knows me, they would bet that I would never say such a thing. But, he is simply the best. Address 3125 Route 10 E, Ste 1e, Denville, NJ 07834
