Kids are swearing all of these things that I believe students should not be doing. Avoid sending your students here. I am an eighth grader. I've been here for two years and I did not recommend the school at all in two years it has been about 15 fights.

She attended school for 3 weeks before I pulled her out. What we experienced was the opposite of what I was hoping for from a Christian, faith based school. The morning teachers were rude to the children and yelled at them when they didn't listen instead of redirecting or coaching the children. They threatened punishments on multiple occasions, such as taking things away, calling parents, or time out. This teaches children to be afraid of punishment, or to view yelling and threatening as an appropriate means of communication with their peers. I brought up my concerns to the preschool director and felt unheard and brushed off. I was hoping for a better experience but I was extremely disappointed with our experience here.

Embarrassed that this is my community High school. This review is on the graduation I attended last…read morenight for my nephew. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I got there early and they had pre-recorded messages on the loud speaker from graduating students. I guess the school though it was OK for one of the recordings to include curse words. And since it was pre-recorded i had to hear it over and over. I cant believe the school thought that was ok. Than as they announced the graduating class individually to accept they're diploma there was a handful of disrespectful students who yelled in the microphone as the next students name was being announced. So disrespectful to the next student being acknowledged. I would of been more pissed had that been my nephews name who was over shadowed by the former student that decided it was OK to take charge of the microphone. There comes a point when the staff should of stepped in. But they obviously didnt see a problem with it. Maybe because it wasn't they're child getting overshadowed. Hopefully I never have to attend another ghetto graduation here in the future. Also glad my kids wont be graduating here.

Academically, the school is strong and well-rounded, with excellent programs in language, art, computers, and robotics that keep learning engaging and meaningful. The leadership is outstanding--Mrs. Duke, the director, is approachable, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. She is responsive, caring, and runs the school with professionalism and heart. Ms. Meek, the kindergarten teacher, is also wonderful. She is patient, dedicated, and creates a nurturing classroom while maintaining high expectations. Our son loves Coach Dave and wishes PE was every day of the week for TK! He always comes home…read moresaying how much he loves school and when they recently were closed on a Friday & Monday for staff development and parent teacher conferences, our son said he misses his teacher and wanted to go to school instead of have a 4 day weekend. So thankful that he loves his school, class and teachers so much. He also is learning a lot in Spanish class and comes home singing Spanish songs. Merryhill is a great environment!
