That…read morebeing said; the nurses, the dialysis techs, the doctors and other people there try to make it as pleasant as possible. My start time was at 5:30am and I was not only so cranky at that time, but also constantly in a mad mood/angry there because I was so upset about dialysis. The nurses, no matter my mood, were always KIND to me, explained whatever they were doing to me throughly and patiently and tried to talk to me about my life. Even though it sucks being there, they try to make it as painless as possible. I got married soon after I finished dialysis (I got a transplant) and we brought the flowers from the church and reception over to the clinic to help make the place look cheery. Dialysis was so traumatic for me, that I was not able to go back to the center to deliver the flowers (but my Mom went) and all the people there were so happy for me and were asking about me and it made me feel really good, even if I was unable to go back again myself.
