During my consultation Dr. Egrari he told me he would also do liposuction (paying for it) to remove some extra fat from my arms but when I asked his nurses after surgery if liposuction had been done they told me it hadn't. My results were not anywhere near what I expected/desired. I was left with approximately two inches of loose/jiggly skin and my "after" looked like someone's " before photo." I was obviously very disappointed and upset after the money spent and the painful recovery. I discussed this with Dr. Egrari during my follow-up appointment. He basically gas lit me saying the results were proportionate to my body and that my arms looked better than before. When I lifted my arms and showed him the excess skin jiggling like a bat wing, he told me that even twelve year old's have arm jiggle. If Dr. Egrari would have validated my disappointment and acknowledged that the results weren't optimal I would have continued to have trust in him knowing this could potentially happen. Unfortunately, this didn't happen. He did tell me that we could meet in 6 months and if I was still unhappy we could discuss my options to see if I still felt I needed it, but doubling down that he stands by his opinion that my results were optimal. I'm not sure how extra time would solve anything, like in 6 months my arms would miraculously tighten up and the fat would disappear. I flew out of state to get a second opinion from a highly respected surgeon who told me that I had well over two inches of loose skin that still needed to be removed along with some additional fat that required liposuction. He also said as time went on the sagging would get even worse. I'm very upset that I have to pay for another surgery and start all over. While I believe Dr. Egrari does some things right (runs a safe practice with great before and after care) I believe his surgical approach is far too conservative resulting in a disappointing outcome.

I was a longtime patient of Dr. Egrari, having undergone multiple procedures with him over the span…read moreof more than a decade. Our relationship was always friendly and professional, and I had no issues with his care until a complication arose that required a more nuanced and specialized approach. Years ago, Dr. Egrari selected textured anatomical (teardrop-shaped) breast implants for my augmentation. Unfortunately, these implants rotated in the existing pocket, creating noticeable asymmetry. I later learned from other surgeons that placing teardrop implants into an existing pocket is generally not recommended for precisely this reason. I brought this concern to Dr. Egrari's attention, but he didn't offer to correct the issue, and at the time, I wasn't eager to undergo another surgery. Years later, I learned that the implants in my body had been recalled due to their association with BIA-ALCL, a rare lymphoma linked to textured implants. By then, I had also developed two autoimmune conditions and became seriously concerned that the implants might be contributing to systemic inflammation. When I brought these concerns to Dr. Egrari, I was disappointed by his response. He was dismissive of Breast Implant Illness (BII), calling it "hysteria from women on Facebook," despite my sharing published studies from reputable sources like PubMed showing emerging evidence of a link between implants and autoimmune symptoms. I ultimately decided to remove the implants and placed a $1000 deposit when a cancellation became available. However, when I asked Dr. Egrari to confirm that he would perform a full capsulectomy (removal of the scar capsule around the implant), he declined, citing the potential risks due to capsule adhesion to the ribs. While I respect that decision, I chose instead to go to a specialist in explant surgery who was certified in microsurgical techniques and could guarantee full capsule removal--something advised for patients with autoimmune symptoms. I wrote a polite and respectful email explaining my concerns and decision to go with a specialist. Despite only holding the surgery slot for two days, Dr. Egrari retained my full deposit and shockingly banned me from his practice. While Dr. Egrari may be a skilled surgeon for routine procedures, my experience suggests that when problems arise, patients may be completely abandoned and met with petty, small minded, unprofessional conduct. Surgeons will often refer out to specialists but after years of loyalty, I was left stunned by how quickly all goodwill evaporated the moment I needed care that required a more specialized approach. It was a hurtful and revealing end to what had once been a trusting doctor-patient relationship.

This review is specifically about my experience with injectables at this practice…read more After spending nearly $50,000 on surgical procedures, I was advised at my one-month postoperative visit that I needed additional Botox and filler. I was surprised by this recommendation given how recently I had undergone a coronal brow lift and facelift. At that visit, I was quoted approximately $1,200 for 100 units of Botox and $1,800 for Juvéderm. I ultimately received 55 units of Botox. The effects lasted about four weeks, significantly shorter than the three months I was told to expect. When I followed up about the shortened duration, I was given differing explanations -- first that it was due to my metabolism, and later that it may have been due to injection placement. No replacement units or refund were offered. Separately, I paid $3,600 for lip fat transfer that did not produce lasting results, and I was billed $1,800 for additional filler at one month post-op. During one lip injection visit, I informed the injector that I have pre-existing lip granulomas from prior filler years ago. The injection was uncomfortable, and when I expressed pain, I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed professionally. Overall, I did not feel that my postoperative concerns were met with thoughtful reassessment. Instead, additional injectables were recommended early in the recovery period. I encourage patients to ask detailed questions about postoperative expectations, duration of injectable products, and refund policies before proceeding. Dr. Naficy's surgical consent states, "if a patient is dissatisfied, we will make a best effort to remediate." This statement is as far from the truth as it can get. Please share my review so other patients can avoid my very expensive mistake in judgement.

I am so glad I got to have this done. I am a woman who is just shy of 30 years old and have recently lost about 45 pounds, but had a stubborn double-chin. It was something that had bothered me since I was 10 years old, whether I was overweight or not. The first doctor I contacted (not Dr. Zemplenyi) said I should get submentalplasty -- that was a little too much of a production for me. Dr. Zemplenyi kept it simple and conservative and said I should do lipo first, but that I might have to come back if he didn't take enough off. I appreciated that Dr. Zemplenyi didn't push me to go for a bigger (and more expensive) procedure, but still informed me about the options. He also was the only one to tell me about potential risks - which luckily didn't happen to me - while the other doctor didn't say anything about that. So I also appreciated that he was honest. Dr. Zemplenyi is a quirky guy and he knows it, but I appreciated that he looked at my chin as if he were an artist. Every person's face is different and I felt like he was really trying to get the best result possible for MY face. PROCEDURE Ok so like I said, I had under-chin lipo. I chose to do it under what I think was mild sedation. I had painkillers but I was still awake. I remember him doing the procedure, but I felt calm. I didn't feel pain. I felt pressure and movement. Recovery was more involved than I thought it would be. It hurt. There was a fair amount of swelling but not a lot of bruising. I got this done on a Thursday, and took Friday and Monday off of work. I worked from home until the following Thursday. Be prepared to take it easy. I should also note that I don't respond well to opioids so I stuck with Tylenol and it was enough for me to keep it manageable. RESULTS I am SO HAPPY with my results. The sheer brain space I have freed up now that I no longer worry about my double-chin? Amazing. If you are on the fence, contact him for a consultation. It was less expensive than I was expecting and about half the price of the submentalplasty the other doctor suggested. I am 8 weeks out and have just a little bit of swelling left and a little bit of tenderness left. I wish I had done this years ago! I am glad I had Dr. Zemplenyi do this for me.

The price was higher than other places I consulted but they are up to par with the expectations. My wellbeing does not have a price and I would pay that and more for the peace of mind I received. Two weeks after my surgery I was not getting any better and had to go to a walk in clinic, I month later I found out a had a giant tumor on top on my lung and it ran up to my throat. Since the experience here was not good and I found out I had a giant tumor right afterwards, I just find this very strange. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Repeated administrative issues have made it difficult to stay with this practice…read more I've known people who have been to this clinic several times and have always been pleased with the medical staff and providers themselves. They seem very skilled and professional. Unfortunately, the front desk experience has become a recurring source of frustration, particularly in dealing with a young woman named Tess. I've encountered multiple scheduling mix-ups and communication errors over the past few months. Even after confirming details in advance, I've arrived for appointments only to be told something like my appointment wasn't scheduled properly. I've also received inconsistent information about pricing and scheduling policies, which creates unnecessary confusion. Beyond the logistics, there's often an unprofessional atmosphere at the front desk from this particular person. Casual conversations, distracted interactions, and little sense of urgency when issues arise. She seems absorbed in her phone for personal reasons, and clearly aloof. It doesn't match the professionalism of the medical team behind the scenes. If you choose this clinic, be aware that it's a clear gamble from the start. You might get the good quality staff, and everything goes smoothly. But you might end up with the poor quality staff, barring you from taking the first step appropriately, wasting your time and money before even getting to the consultation. It's disappointing, because this practice could truly stand out if the first point of contact reflected the same level of care and attention as the clinical staff. Until that changes, I'll likely look elsewhere for future procedures.
