There's nothing but SENSATIONAL brewing at the Center for Esthetic Excellence. I choose that word specifically because it is a 5 senses type of experience!!
I'm a relatively young dentist, 3 years removed from my studies at the University of Colorado. I traveled to Chicago to attend a Dr. Jason Smithson hands-on lecture to hone my composite skill set ,... upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by Erika, the mojo of the operation, full of life, all smiles and incredibly knowledgeable. Dr. Buddy Mopper personally greeted me as well, and thanked me for attending the course. It was VIP from start to finish. The view from the suite where CEE is located was Instagram worthy, so I snapped away several shots, just gorgeous floor to ceiling window views of the city. Great food to munch on for breakfast, healthy options, and a lunch at Michael Jordan's next door - wow, the Filet Mignon was next level!! Lunch was also an amazing time to mix and mingle with the other docs, family style. That may not be your thing, so you do you, but you'd be missing out on something special. I personally chatted Dr. Mopper's ear off for about an hour and was entertained, yes, the entire time!!
Dr. Smithson was and is at the top of our field, and didn't make you feel like a lesser dentist: he was funny, he was witty, encouraging, and professional all at the same time, something difficult to pull off. When you consider the line up CEE reps too, from Smithson to Fahl, Wilhite and Mopper, it could be a terrible experience otherwise and you'd still learn your weight in gold... so I think it speaks volumes to the integrity of the CEE operation and their striving to make you love everything about everything during your stay on the Magnificent Mile, on top of the education you'll receive.
Honestly, I wouldn't think to do a composite course ANYWHERE ELSE, you'd just be cheating yourself. Immediately upon returning, I put into practice what I had learned, from posterior composites, inlay techniques, and direct resin veneers. As a result, I was able to tailor my practice into an independent contractor firm where I do high-end cases, many of which are 8-12 units of direct resin veneers. And yes, that's just about all I do, because there are so few dentists who have taken the leap of faith to learn the techniques taught at CEE and implement.
So do yourself a favor, do your PATIENTS a favor, and book the next available course - an education in excellence is priceless. read more
