I had fun looking around at all the different items - they specialize in natural and organic products and have something for everyone, whether you're vegan, gluten free, keto, etc. They stock lots of supplements, vitamins, health and beauty products, produce, snacks, even beer and wine. I was asked if I needed help finding anything, but at that point I was still just browsing. I did eventually need to ask for help finding the psyllium husk, and the employee led me right to the section I needed (of course I had walked right by it at least twice). The snack aisle of any grocery store is my favorite, so I had to check it out. I didn't end up buying anything there, but I did find a flavor of sparkling water that I'd been looking for - and it was on sale! The aisles are still a little tight, but it wasn't too crowded when I was there. I really love this locally owned store and always enjoy my visits!

The lady on the phone said let me call to confirm so you do not drive out there for nothing. She confirmed and said they were holding it for me. Harvest Health can be a little pricey, but their service makes up for it. I can always find items you cannot find at "big box" stores.

By happenstance I happen to be on my way back to Chicago and this location was right next door to a gas station that was fueling up at. It's a great location since it's next to the highway and has easy access to the streets. This location is a smaller size but it features everything that I was looking for at a health food store like my energy drinks and a bunch of great snacks that are on sale for a great price. They were even giving me a free vegetable plant to take home too that I actually plan on using in my cocktails with! The restrooms here were also very clean. It was really easy to do. I've been before for an IV drip years ago and their location now is even more convenient with a super large parking lot off the highway, while it gets pretty busy with the other businesses early in the morning, I've never had an issue. The staff are always super friendly walking me through what I need to do, and provide me with everything for the scan! It is not in a private area, which isn't an issue for me but I can understand if that would make people feel weird. It is right next to a big window. I plan to do this more often as I'm going through my fitness journey and appreciate this being so close to home. My only thing is I wish I could get an earlier appt time given that this scan has to be fasted and before a workout, and 9am is a bit "late" for that, but one day a month isn't too bad. Just not ideal! Still appreciate having the option close to home at a decent price point. I'd love to buy a "package" if they have that option to save a little bit of $$.
