I heard about this covid testing place on Reddit! Nate and I were potentially exposed and wanted to get a quick test. This location is on 28th Street near the Buffalo Wild Wings, between Kalamazoo and Breton.
We arrived right before they opened at 9 am and there were already a few people waiting in line. We chose to stay in the car since it was freezing out, but I noticed a sign posted on the door and didn't get out to read it. Definitely read that sign, because you're required to register online beforehand. It's pretty quick to do, but we could have gotten it taken care of while waiting around. It only took about 5 minutes to fill out the form. You'll need to provide a photo of your ID. If you have insurance they ask for a photo of that card as well. You'll get a confirmation number which you'll need to write on a paper they give you, so take a screenshot of it or keep it open on your phone.
Once you're registered, you'll be directed inside where someone tells you how to swab your nose for the test. The website says that someone will verbally tell you your results after 15 minutes as well as email them to you, but that wasn't the case for us. We did get our negative results emailed to us within one hour of leaving the facility, which was great. Plus it's free! No appointments are needed and the whole process was super quick once we filled out the online form. (The people there can help you with this if you don't have a smartphone or need assistance.)
My only reason for a 4 star review is that it would be nice for them to link to the form on the website for this location for those looking for more information. read more
