Beautiful gardens near the center of town. We were given the recommendation by a local to check out the bluff overlook nearby and to check out the man-made waterfall at Centennial Gardens on the way.
Parking is free though limited spots are available. Street parking is also an option if you can find a space. Short walk to the gardens from the parking lot, leading by garden beds full of a variety of blooming flowers.
The waterfall is no doubt the centerpiece of the gardens. With the bridge, it reminds me of Multnomah Falls near Portland, Oregon. The waterfall flows into the pond and creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
