But after trying it, we were pleasantly surprised and he enjoyed it the most of the 2 tacos he got. The multia was only grilled on 1 side and the other tortilla was just slapped on top. All the other places we go to they grill both sides. It did have a nice cheese layer on it though. Good but would have preferred both sides grilled. Salas were good as well. There was nothing wrong with the BBQ, and I'd absolutely eat here again. For me, the rating came down more to value, portion size, and personal preference than anything being poorly executed. When the plate landed, my first thought was that there could have been a little more protein. I mean, I had just paid about $30 and was also charged an upcharge for the ribs and brisket. The sides were generous, though, so it wasn't like I left hungry. Brisket: The chunks were sweet and moist. The slices were just okay on their own, but the sauce helped. In hindsight, I probably would have asked for cuts from the round rather than the flat. But I wasn't asked, and I didn't think to ask. Ribs: Also fine. Nothing wrong with them, but they didn't make me stop and think, that I'd be licking my fingers. Service was fast. There was no real line to speak of, and I arrived after the typical lunch rush, but all the tables were clean. The parking lot is the way to go. There are about 20 spaces and there isn't really street parking, so plan accordingly. But the thing that really stood out to me had nothing to do with my plate. Someone arrived with their well behaved dog, and one of the restaurant employees offered the dog a bowl of water and a piece of brisket. That kind of hospitality gets noticed. It's a small gesture, but those are the details that make a restaurant memorable. It felt genuinely kind and welcoming, and honestly, that's something I'll remember longer than whether I preferred the mac & cheese. We thought the truck was by Target, but it is actually located in the Chevron gas station on El Camino, right before Woodside Ave. We ordered a shrimp taco, a fish taco and an aguachile verde to share. There were five of us altogether, so it took a bit of time for our food to be prepared. Unfortunately, there is no seating available. As soon as our order was ready, I started eating my fish taco and I was pretty impressed! The fish was nicely fried and they were very generous with the condiments, including cabbage, pico de gallo and a slice of fresh avocado. They even provided slices of radishes and cucumbers as well as limes. It reminded me of the tacos from La Cocina de la Abuela, a brick and mortar in downtown Redwood City that closed in 2021. They had the most amazing fried shrimp and fish tacos and these were just as good! The aguachile was also amazing! The shrimp were surprisingly large and served with avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers and thinly sliced red onions. It's perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice! I tried a shrimp from my friend, who ordered the camarones a la cucaracha. The shrimp are cooked in a garlicky, lime sauce and served over a bed of sliced cucumbers and onions to soak up all the tasty sauce. All the food we tried was delicious, and the portions are pretty generous. We discovered that you could call your order ahead, so we will do that the next time we go to save time. It was made with traditional ingredients like tomatoes, olive oil, peppers, onion, garlic, and seasoned with cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper. The flavors were rich and well balanced. It's a good flavor and consistency. The side salad was also delicious with a simple vinegar-based dressing. It comes with a Greek pita which is a kesra like bread. If I had to guess, which I am, I think it's purchased rather than made. While I prefer any kitchens make their ingredients from scratch, both the meatballs and pita were not disappointing. When I arrived, the owner was sitting on a chair in the shade outside. He jumped up and I placed my order. I heard the clanking of pots and pans as he fired up the stove and got busy preparing my dish. I stood at the window for a few and really enjoyed watching him work. About eight minutes later, my order was ready. I then paid by credit card, and there was no tip screen or coffee can on the counter. This guy is old school. Oh, they only do plates and no wraps. No fancy ingredients, but they made it well for what it was. The chef's name was Deven and he can cook! It's a food truck, so there's really no ambiance. Today was a test run: owners were very open with their experience and they shared some of their initial issues that they have to overcome. The inside of the truck is loud because of the fan, so they have trouble hearing customers. Their truck is limited, so they're not able to do some of the other foods they want to experiment with. And their ordering system is limited in their ability to customize food. Hopefully they'll be able to tackle these issues when they formally open. Their openness gave me a newfound respect for how difficult it can be operating a food truck. They were super nice, so I hope that they can succeed.

Since the food was catered, unfortunately I was unable to see the robots cooking in action, but fortunately was able to taste the final products. I was able to try the Wagyu galbi (short ribs), dak galbi (marinated chicken), Seoul food bowl (stir-fried pork belly and shrimp), and japchae, served with their corn salad, kimchi, and white rice. The Wagyu galbi was very flavorful with a good amount of vegetables; though I enjoyed the inclusion of lotus root, the veggies seemed like borderline filler to skimp out on meat. The dak galbi was also flavorful though spicy, and again the inclusion of rice cakes seemed like filler. The pork belly and shrimp were delicious, and I liked that the pieces of pork belly I had didn't have an overpowering amount of fat. The japchae was pretty standard and was nice to balance out the meat. I enjoyed the corn salad because it added a creamy component to my meal. The kimchi got lost in the mixture of food in my bowl and the rice was cooked perfectly by the robot. Overall, I enjoyed the food prepared by OLHSO Truck. Unfortunately, since the food was catered and already prepared when I arrived, I cannot comment on the service or wait times provided by the staff. I would consider ordering food from the truck if I am craving Korean fusion type of food and am too lazy to dine in at a local Korean restaurant.
