We ended up waiting 40 minutes in the rain outside the old office for someone to pick us up. Once we finally got to the correct location, it took three hours just to receive the rental car. They also placed a $1,600 USD hold on my credit card and forced me to purchase their insurance, something other rental companies have never required. The car itself was unsafe--the windshield wipers didn't even work, and it was raining heavily during my rental period. When it was time to return the car, the original office was closed, and they were in the middle of relocating. They had us wait at a gas station at 3 a.m. with our luggage, which felt extremely unsafe. To make things worse, after one employee inspected the car and confirmed everything was fine, another employee tried to claim the truck had a new scratch (which was already marked on the original inspection sheet) -- likely in an attempt to keep my $1,600 deposit. Be very cautious renting from them. Since they're not officially operating out of the airport anymore, it feels like they're cutting corners and looking for ways to take advantage of customers

We were told they would charge $1500 on the credit card in case of an incident but as soon as we returned the car charge would be reversed, it has been 2 weeks and they have not reversed the charge, now I have to dispute it with my credit card.

If you like to spend a lot of time "negotiating" the price, well, he'll try to throw in more discs you looked at (but didn't put in purchase pile because of condition) instead of lowering price. He probably has the best selection, but if you can find it somewhere else it will probably be cheaper (after all, he's got to pay everyonei he's ordering around ). Very good selection, but not my first stop in downtown GDL.

He even jacked up the prices on records I had selected when I was there last week. When I asked how much a particular record was since there are NO prices on the any record, you could gel that he was jacking up the price as he could tell I was a tourist. I told him I couldn't speak Spanish, and he threw a peso bill at me to indicate the price - which I could still not read since the bill was crumpled. It was humiliating. I travel internationally and visit local vinyl stores. This is rude business practice. I opted not to patronize his business and left without any purchases. Very very disappointing.
