Male cashier/clerk had the personality of a box of rocks. No greeting, no Thank You. His greeting was "ya". These employees could use some training. I will not spend my hard earned money at a place like this. Seems they don't need my business acting like that.

There's also a subway inside here. Stuff is expensive here but what do you expect from a spot in the middle of a "resort" they have what you need. I'm surprised with the grocery selection they have now. Seems to be getting more and more every year. We stop here quite often during our vacation in breezy. Staff can be hit or miss on the friendliness front, as is typical with convenience & liquor stores. But you're here to hit-and-run for supplies or fuel, not find a new BFF. They do have non-ethanol gas available at the pumps (Aug 2021). Station carries the Cenex brand of Top Tier gasoline. Liquor store has good selection of beers, spirits, and mixers. Bagged ice too, as expected.

It is where my family goes for bait, obviously, but also for gas, and most importantly, boat rentals. When I was a wee lad my parents rented a small (9 horse?) motor from the Bait Box for me to use to putter around the lakes. Awesome. When I was a teen and twenty something I rented jet skis to roar around the lakes and be silly. And now, we rent pontoons from there, for family outings.
