Delicious bread, drinks, and food!
This location can be found in by the North-West side of the Zocalo (the main plaza) along many other small sit down restaurants. right next to a pizza place which is on the same side where the only Burger King in downtown is at.
Personally I'm a huge bread critic, I like my bread soft, tasty, fluffy, and obviously made daily, so coming to Puebla to try their famous cemitas you bet i will be trying and looking for those key items that makes a good bread.
It has an outdoor sitting which is a bit bigger than the inside. Please be reminded that here it still is permitted to smoke in the terrace so the few small tables inside may came in handy to avoid cigarrette smoke. There is table service so feel free to pull out a chair and sit someone will be right with you.
We came in for dinner and since it was already past 9pm we knew that cemitas to share was the ideal meal. Even though the day was about to be over the bread, meat, avocados, lettuce, onion and jalapenos served in the meal was super fresh, made to order and everything at a super short wait time. I also ordered a hibiscus water in which you can also know if the place either makes it from scratch or store bought, but this place, once again it tasted home made and not watered down nor too sweet.
They do have bathrooms for clients dining in, but if you have kids with you is recommended to go with an adult since the restrooms are by the kitchen and are coed.
I enjoyed our experience dining here, then again you just have to come in and try it yourself. read more
