I think this management company is very professional. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. I recently had flooding in my condo unit due to an irresponsible plumber (see my review for Rite Plumbing for more details). The plumber refused to own up to his mistake and so my management company stepped up and got things taken care of FAST!!! Natalie and Char are so super awesome. Not only are they sympathetic, but the really care about making things right. They kept me updated on all the steps of the process and eased my worries during such a stressful time. They sent out a mold remediation company same day to clean everything up, and the following week they had another gentleman repairing all the damage. I do think they are overwhelmed and could use more office help but im sure the covid has something to do with that. So when the reviews here say they are hard to get a hold of it could possibly be correct but they must prioritize requests based on urgency. Overall they try so hard and are very polite. Celtic was bought out by Westward360 who is just as bad a Celtic Property Management. You have to go through so many steps to get to the agent who supports your association. It is just terrible and not customer friendly. We went from one frying pan to another. Return calls are not done, requests ignored and layers and layers of just stuff. read more

They merged with Westwood 360 and the process of them getting our financials and homeowner accounts that were sitting okay and now screwed up and they are not paying our contractors but managed to pay themselves. If I could give zero stars, I would. To any HOA decision-makers: DO NOT--I repeat, DO NOT--consider this company for property management. They manufacture legal issues and then force the HOA to foot the bill. They impose baseless fines, relying on hearsay rather than facts, and show a blatant disregard for due process and legal standards. Only when confronted with legal action do they bother to respond. They'll send you to collections without even contacting you, and when you try to call them they'll lie and say that you never contacted them, so that way they can send you to collections. They ignore and dodge your calls, and will blame the resident for their mistakes and you have to suffer the consequences of their mistakes. And won't even acknowledge their mistakes. When I tell you the customer service factor of this company is the pits, it is the pits. What's good? Lower prices on contractor jobs than the previous property management companies. What's the pits about this company? The follow up on questions and concerns takes forever. We started a lighting project back in April requesting to have the upper lights on our building done. Pictures of the types of lights our association was requesting was attached. We were told that when they come do the back door lights they would review and let them know what kind of lights would be needed. Do you think Celtic followed up on our request. No, they did not. I have been continuously sending emails, reviewing the budget of the special assessment to ensure we are within what was collected. When I send a request- do I get a response right back- 9-10 times no. It takes 1-2 weeks of email f/u to get an answer. If you call - you don't get a response back until you start with complaints to the owners who stated it should not take more than 48 hours to get a response. I am still following up on the lights that were supposed to have been completed December 9th. The ledger postings of bills- multiple double postings. If you don't check the ledger of bills paid you will find bills for other associations paid off of our acct. I sent an email this morning as to why there are 2 additional postings for the same bulb replacement. This type of emails is sent at least 3-4 times a year. 2-3 weeks for a f/u email when a simple 5 min phone call would suffice. We still have not had a hole in the wall fixed that was sent via email request with the darn lights. I can't say enough - no matter the friendliness of the staff- the follow up of the staff is highly poor; the maintenance of bills posted is horrible and management will not respond. We are not going to even talk about being sent an email stating we have to send in our personal information due to some law that was passed January 2024 but the email letting us know about it came November 2024 with a statement that if we don't submit the information by January 2025 we will be fined. This law was passed 11 months earlier, but we were not given any type of communication regarding this information until the last minute which would have put our association in jeopardy. Sent an email requesting follow up- no response. Had to send a text. This was from owners/management. Very very very poor response and follow up. I sent a request back in November 7 requesting a budget meeting. It is now December 16th and guess what- nothing. I am still following up. Last request last week on what day do we want to me. I started in November to get the budget so that the board could review it, ask questions and have an association meeting for the year. What in the holy H-ll? They just don't give a crap!!! read more

Our Condo Association hired Celtic as property managers starting in 2017. The Board notified residents that they were a local company that would take better interest in maintaining our property. When new gutters and drainage were installed throughout our complex last year, Celtic sent out a letter (on behalf of our Board) on August 24, 2018 requesting that any issues be reported directly to their office for correction. I reported our building's front entrance drainage/gutter issues via email on September 4, 2018, specifically including SERIOUS issues which have been occurring for 15+ years of occupancy... issues that we knew would not be remedied by the new gutter/drainage set up as installed. During September, we watched in amazement as Celtic (likely via the contractor for the drainage project) swapped out MULTIPLE drain exits for larger/better suited ones around our building EXCEPT for the one at the front entrance. Therefore, I followed up with a similar email regarding the front entrance drainage/gutter issues on September 24, 2018. After going to great length to relay the potential liability on 2 occasions, I simply gave up. Because of the unresolved drainage/gutter issues (as reported in September 2018), it is not uncommon for 2 to 3 inches of ice to cover the front entrance area, often extending further onto a portion of the driveway during wintertime. Not surprisingly, I was once again scrapping ridiculous amounts of ice from the front entrance and driveway to start calendar 2019. Fortunately, no one was injured during the winter due to Celtic's inaction. On March 26, 2019, I emailed a picture (see attached) of the main entrance's gutter exit to Celtic. The picture clearly shows that heavy rainfall pushes the smaller/restricted cover and a portion of the drain pipe out of the ground. The drain cover originally installed as part of the 2018 project has yet to be swapped out almost 1 year later. The other drainage/gutter issues SPECIFIC to our building (as reported in September 2018) have also not been acted upon, which could eventually result in serious injury and a potential lawsuit for the Association. If your condo association/commercial property is considering their services, TAKE A PASS. read more

They do not pay the contractors once the work has been completed and an invoice was sent. It's been over 90 days and still no payments and no one is getting back to us. Completely ridiculous! Go with another property management company. read more

I would rate 0 out of 5 if I could but one star is the minimum. This group does absolutely nothing and tells you to deal with HOA-related problems on your own. This company's customer service is not only terrible but severely lacking. Their outsourced answer service for after-hours is sub-par with so much miscommunication and confusion on their end. These guys are not on the same page and Celtic is not helpful in any way, shape, or form. It's sad how ineffective and inefficient companies like this exist. Excellent turnaround on issues. They have a portal with all relevant documents for resident owners to view. There will always be a few dificult owners. Celtic takes them in stride and deals with them in behalf of the Board. Excellent plus. Celtic also has a great association lawyer who can come to meetings upon request, and cite Condo law verbatim. read more

Worst place to do business they won't return our security deposit. Even after small claims court ordered them to. They are crooks and dishonest. Stay clear of them. We left the townhome in better condition than we got it. The court looked over our pictures and agreed and they still won't return our deposit. read more

Over the course of my dealings with Celtic Property Management they have been repeatedly unresponsive to emails and phone calls, frequently late with rent payment remittances, have not provided monthly statements, have not inspected my property when requested, were slow to take requested action needed to rent my property, did not make arrangements for utilities to be continued between renters, and were late with and had their deposit return check bounce for my tenant. I am still owed rent remittance for December 2018 and rent statements for the majority of 2018 even though it is now the end of March 2019. The expectation for a property management company is simple. Place tenants, collect rent, and send me the rent I am owed as the property owner and statements I need for my records. Celtic Management Company has managed our HOA for the last 6 years. After having several other companies that did not answer calls, or e-mails and let us down on so many occasions since our inception, I would like to comment on Celtic's superior service to us.They are always on top of all questions, problems and are willing to answer any questions, or give you any information or documents that you request. They have helped us recoup back dues from four double-sided pages down to 4 people that owe their back dues and fines. We have 347 homes. They have even gone door to door to collect info as well as the back dues! They are always willing to get us names of companies that can service our common areas, at great savings to us. All of our bills are paid on time, our paperwork is all filed on time, and they have done everything that our Association could need. I think they are an association's dream team! They are on top of all our issues, requests and needs! And NO! I do not work for them, They do the work FOR US! read more
