This place by far exceeded my expectations! If you think you have cellulite all figured out, think again. The amount of stuff you learn during the treatment is priceless! First I come home and I kid you not, my husband said to me "have you lost more weight?" I didn't even tell him I was doing anything today. Kinda excited about hearing him say that, I hopped on the scale, and my weight was down 2 lbs from this morning. I never weigh myself in the evening cause that's just always bad news all around. First mistake was to get caught in the "special" $149.00 for 3 "treatments" its a trap. I went for the first "treatment" it was 39 minutes massage and according to her (I forgot her name I think it was Margaret) it was a miracle thing. I scheduled my second appointment but 4 hours prior to it my calendar got filled with meetings form work. I immediately texted to reschedule and I got nothing but snob attitude. She said that there was a $30 cancellation fee. I quickly moved things around and manage to put things for the next day. (I don't believe that a cellulite treatment is more important than my business schedule but I wasn't going to give $30 to Margaret). I got there and a younger aesthetician "greeted " me. She rolled her eyes, she talked to me with the worse attitude. The session lasted 27 minutes. Then, she said: ok girl you are all good to go. Well, I'm twice your age and I can tell you lack of manners. She and Margaret treat people as if you are there to see them. Condescending and rude. Zero customer service skills. You are offering a service. I'm not there to get your autograph. Horrible place Go get $149 worth of something. Don't waste your money. By the way I never went back for the " third" session. Endermologie. Huh, what is it? Endermologie is a noninvasive massage technique that uses mechanical roller and regulated suction to produce its results. I have had about 5 or 6 sessions to date so far and all I have to say is "WOW". Jody Reese, the Endermologist, has helped shape my body with this revolutionary procedure. Totally painless, TOTALLY worth it for the great results. She is super personable and makes the whole process so comfy, you don't even notice time fly and you even get the appearance change that you went in for in the first place! It's like getting a deep tissue massage but you get more than just loose muscles. You get tighter looking skin and lose weight faster in the areas you actually want (and much more). Jodie can actually SHAPE your body with the Endermologie treatment(s). Some people see results after the first session but typically you can see myriad results with 6 or 7 or more. Every body is different. What is even better is that if you have any questions in regards to what the process actually does to your body physically, she has every answer. And I mean EVERY answer. I ask a lot of questions naturally and she was able to explain the biological processes that occur within the body when the lipo-massage is applied. It makes you feel better when you know you are paying for something to get results and the person performing the procedure actually has an extended and beyond basic knowledge of what is being done. Therefore, she performs the procedure better than anyone who is just doing a "routine" spa procedure. She takes the time to ask what you expect, what you want, where you want changed, etc. You don't get treated like just another "client" or random spa-goer. If you search all around the Internet, you can get information on Endermologie. You can't get information on the people who perform it though. I always feel like Julia Roberts in the country club scene in Pretty Woman when I come to medspas. These are not places I would have access to unless my Richard Gere (aka Groupon) were to dress me up & invite me in. Left to myself, I'm still using safety pins to keep my boots together! So I came here because - why else? - LivingSocial ran a deal for 3 sessions of Endermologie for under $100. Anytime this happens I know it's going to be tough to schedule an appointment right away, but I was surprised at how responsive and friendly Jody was -- and she fit me in pretty quickly. She keeps in touch with her clients via cell phone primarily, which makes her very accessible (almost too accessible!). The office is right above Panini Cafe on PCH, and of course parking can be tough. The treatments themselves are pretty relaxing. It's kind of like getting a deep-tissue massage (a treat for someone like me who never does stuff like that), but slightly more intense. Jody is an incredibly personable, friendly woman who will chat easily with you about everything! She took great care to explain the whole background of cellulite formation and how this particular machine works to get rid of it. Like most things in medspas, getting fantastic results always comes from a "series of treatments that extend beyond the trial run," and ...well, for someone who will spend $100 for 3 sessions, anything significantly beyond that is a tough sell. So this is my second time here. What a rad idea. Women really have more trouble with gaining/keeping weight than men so a nice helpful solution like this is great. First time was great -- I had Pepe do the cellulite treatment. She's really sweet, knows what she's doing and educated. I *thought* I saw results after the first session but maybe not. One session would be really early to tell. Second time was incredible -- Christine is very sweet, honest and very educated about health and fitness as well as this treatment. She was very knowledgable about the "trouble spots" and made sure to go over the areas that I wanted more help with with more pressure/for longer amounts of time, and the areas she generally feels women need help with. I just left my first endermologie treatment here and LOVED it! They're amazing. It was super easy to make an appointment and they keep in touch via text. My practitioner explained everything very well, took before pictures and was super gentle with the treatment. Not only that, but she basically gave me a full anatomy lesson to explain how endermologie works and how it will make me look awesome.
