This pub was rather lovely, much better than the pubs further in to town, but then again, that probably has something to do with then attempting to be more open to visitors and the like. The staff were quite friendly, though the selection of beers on tap weren't really all that great. However, as a pub it was quite nice, and it is certainly one of those places that is worth spending some time at, for a drink at least. read more

The decor is rustic. The staff are extremely friendly. I had a chicken and mushroom pizza and it was delicious. It has been a long time since I've had a pizza as nice. Piping hot too. Unfortunately, I was the only one who enjoyed the meal. All of my friends thought the place was too expensive, the stakes were either undercooked or tough and the fish was frozen. I guess I won't be having an you have any more of their pizzas. read more
