Mind you, this room is not under my lease agreement, and it is not my responsibility to clean out another person's room. Fast forward to recently, I have expressed concerns for my physical well-being writhing my own apartment due to my roommates threatening my safety, as well as filing a complaint about my apartment being 60° indoors, while it is snowing, and my roommates not allowing me to turn on the heat, yelling at me and cussing me out if I did. After filing this complaint, I instead got told absolutely nothing on how to solve this issue, and instead of stuck with a $300 "Illegal Pet Fee" for my Emotional Support Animal that I have residing in this apartment. Campus pointe has also jacked up prices to upwards of $1000 a month for students living here with 3 other roommates, 4 in total. Their maintenance crew also barges into apartments unannounced if no one answers the door, and even goes so far as to unlock people's doors to their rooms if they are locked, entering rooms without permission. Do NOT stay here. Campus Pointe does not care for you, your belongings, your money, or your physical safety.

I've also experienced multiple centipedes which i've never dealt with. Then they insultingly decided to raise my rent while also removing the provided cable asking me to resign. There was also a fire on the top floor when I lived there and I cant even imagine how bad the water damage is from the firehoses putting out the fire. They were responsive, professional, and helpful whenever I submitted a maintenance request. Unfortunately, my experience with management was much less positive. I had a very difficult roommate situation that made living there extremely stressful for almost a year. I repeatedly contacted management and even had documentation from my university supporting my need to change my housing situation. However, I was consistently told that they could not help without my roommate's consent. This made it extremely difficult to sublease or find a replacement tenant and leave an unhealthy living situation. I felt that there were very limited options available to me despite repeatedly asking management for help. I also had an issue with a $40 NSF fee that I disputed and provided bank documentation regarding, but I was ultimately required to pay it. Overall, the maintenance staff were excellent, but my experience with management was disappointing. If you are considering renting here, I would strongly recommend reading the lease carefully and paying particular attention to the roommate, sublease, replacement-tenant, and lease-change policies before signing.

On the plus side, Eagles is an easy walk to campus. The gym is small but nice for an easy workout. The pool isn't amazing but does it's job. The problem became so severe that I eventually brought my outdoor camping bug zapper inside, where it routinely caught dozens of gnats and mosquitoes every day. Basic maintenance, such as replacing weatherstripping and sealing gaps around windows and doors, was never adequately addressed. The overall quality of maintenance was also extremely poor. The apartment appeared to have been given a rushed cosmetic paint job rather than properly renovated. In the walk-in closet, old closet hardware and the clothing rod had simply been painted over rather than removed and replaced. There was even literal hair embedded in the paint, making it obvious that surfaces had not been properly cleaned or prepared before painting. The paint itself was low quality and prone to dripping, particularly in the bathroom, where it left yellowish streaks and stains on the shower walls over time. Parking was another ongoing frustration. Residents frequently competed for spaces because parking rules were rarely enforced, creating unnecessary conflicts and inconvenience. The heating and cooling situation was also disappointing. The apartment did not have central air conditioning or central heat. Instead, tenants were provided with an aging window air-conditioning unit that appeared poorly maintained and had accumulated years of dirt and grime. Heating was supplied by old electric wall heaters that were heavily rusted and corroded. Whenever they were used, they produced an unpleasant odor, and their condition raised concerns about both safety and reliability. Overall, the property suffered from a lack of preventative maintenance and upkeep. While the cosmetic issues were frustrating, the unresolved insect problem and poor condition of the heating and cooling equipment were the most significant concerns during my time living there.
