I called very last minute on a Friday holding my breath for an arrangement for my son's funeral on Saturday morning. It may have been around 11/12 and they immediately had it ready for me in a couple hours. While it was a simple request it was urgent to me and they sensed that and were very helpful and also sympathetic. I won't order from anywhere else ever again. Celebrations does not live up to the hype and probably delivered the worst flower arrangement I have seen from a "professional" florist. I live in Virginia and placed an order through my local florist, to deliver an arrangement to my mother on her 75th birthday. My mom always sends me a picture, with her thank you, when she receives something from me. I was mortified! The arrangement looked NOTHING like what I had ordered. I can understand there will be design differences and even substitutions in flowers and vases but this was the cheapest arrangement I'd ever seen from a professional. Not even close! I went directly back to my florist, to show her the picture of what was sent. SHE was mortified and extremely apologetic. She called Celebrations to let them know I was displeased; their excuse was that roses were expensive and they gave me $105 worth of roses. Mind you that price included a balloon and a premium surcharge on delivery of $12. I cancelled the order and they drove back to my mom's house to pick up the horrid arrangement. Celebrations also messed up the inscription on the card. I ordered from another shop, R & S Crafts and Florist. They delivered the most beautiful arrangement to my mom, the day AFTER her birthday. read more

A colleague in FL told me and others at our CA office about a life changing event. We wanted to show our support and decided to give her some flowers. After looking at ProFlowers and 800-flowers, nothing was really jumping out at us, so we went local. Glad we did! Celebrations was extremely patient and accommodating. Since we are in CA, we could not see the vase or types of flowers to be used for the floral arrangement. Annette sent me multiple pictures of different vase and pottery options, with dimensions, by text. When we finally decided on the vase, they spoke to us about the type, look, and feel of the flowers. We stated what our budget was for the flower arrangement, and they made it work! Plus, the turn around was 24 hours! Before being sent out for delivery, Annette also sent over a picture of the flowers. What a breathtaking arrangement! After being a customer for years this past Valentine's Day was the last time I will go get flowers from them. The $150 dozen of tulips seemed a bit steep especially since they were wilted when I came to pick them up they reluctantly change them out for a different color but the wilted ones they tried to sell me were ready for the trash. read more

The picture on the website has all large beautiful roses, but what I got was a few aging large roses and a lot of very tiny Tyler roses -- like the ones sold on the side of the road. This was for my own mother's funeral. I was very embarrassed that anyone even saw it. I sent a complaint email but received NO response whatsoever. All flowers were wilted or dying w in 3 days. I called them and they wanted me to email them pictures of the arrangement. So I did- any reputable florist would apologize and say " I'm so sorry we will deliver you a new arrangement today and pick up the other one." THEN, once they received my email - they wanted ME to bring the arrangement back to them- they were gong to switch out the roses but leave the dying tulips in. Terrible service. Little did they know we just moved here and my husband sends me flowers all the time. They just lost a customer. Just Judy's Flowers is a MUCH better florist - my husband wasn't aware of them, I told him we would be much happier w their arrangements- better quality, better value w Just Judy's.
