They have a wonderful selection. And they are the only place I know that correctly calls "sausage kolaches" as their real name--Klobásník--or Klobásníky (plural.) but don't expect those to still be there. On a weekday, they might still have these Czech treats until 3 pm, but on the weekends, they go fast! Always friendly staff and i just love looking through their home decor. They have the cutest little tchotchkes that are locally crafted and so wonderful for home, garden, or lawn. I have bought many a christmas and birthday gift on the way. Great metal art as well! The bathrooms are always clean and smell fine. I highly recommend stopping at least one time to see everything they have to offer. It's a true, "small Texas town" stop! Oh, and set the GPS! This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Before leaving Doc had us take a selfie and a nice gentleman also took a couple for us too.

This Giddings spot is tiny but mighty with a small deduction of the normal beaver fare, clean restrooms and drink stations, and a fair amount of pumps. However, they lack the quality I have come to expect. Specifically, the coffee station gained my ire this time. The last 2 times I have stopped here, the coffee was bad. Like Circle K bad. Burnt and tasteless. And they lack the space for the cold creamers to hide the flavor. The carafes are too low to fit a large cup under so you have to tilt them, risking hot coffee split across your hand. At least it isn't as hot as McD's.

They have a Starbucks on the premises and my husband got a coffee to go. I used the rest room. The bathroom is usually very clean, but think there was a bad smell in there yesterday. The cleaning crew was in there, so maybe they would have taken care of the smell too if I have been there a while Later. They have lots of the usual stop n go stuff for sale candy, fountain drinks and coffee. But what caught my eye were these cute animal booty/non skid slippers. They were so cute -wolf ones, bear ones and others including college team inspired ones. Wish I had had my camera with me when I saw them.

We gassed up, empty the bladder,grabbed some snacks and were back on the road without unnecessary distractions and temptations.
