They would not allow us as parents to navigate scheduling and payments without a fuss. We spoke with a clinical supervisor after waiting weeks for a response and thought the problem was sorted out. Our child started with a new counselor and the same problems happened. Our child was charged a $70 late cancellation fee because the new counselor scheduled directly instead of through parents that bounced the checking account. Tried to solve that problem through the clinical supervisor who has not responded. We will never utilize CCA again for counseling services. Very poorly managed.

I asked for relevant feedback regarding this Center's practices. After I filed the grievance, the counselor still pursued to contact me. I advised the clinical director of how I felt more traumatized from my experience with the counselor than when I first sought the help. I am still awaiting a formal written response in response to my well thought out letter. I do not wish to discuss over the phone. Folks, a paper trial is always best. I would not recommend this practice to anyone I feel that my mental health was further harmed and I urge people to entrust their trauma experiences with another, ethical provider. Please, do your research.

My daughter wanted to see her former counselor, but she's not taking new clients, fine. She needs evening or weekend appointments due to school, you would have thought I asked for the moon and stars. She sighed at me and said that would be difficult, but if she would see a male counselor that would be easier. Well my teenage daughter only feels comfortable with a female counselor. So I asked about the virtual appointments they advertise in their website, and she stated she doesn't even know why that's on there. They don't do them. Finally after going through all of there female counselors, she got her an appointment 2 weeks out on a Saturday, again, not the "within" 24 hours, but at least she didn't have to miss school, which the receptionist suggested. We finally get to our appointment, counselor is running 30 minutes late and we almost leave because we have no idea that she's even showed up. Turns out she's just running late, and my daughter finally gets to see someone. We schedule new appointments at the end and leave. The following week, I get a call from the receptionist to reschedule my appointments we scheduled, which got all screwed up and she ended up double booking my daughters appointments. In 2 months, my daughter has seen her counselor ONE TIME, the receptionist has been so rude, and basically said she didn't care if we stayed at the practice or left. If my daughter had not already built rapport with the counselor we would have left, however, with how bad this anxiety is, this whole situation has made it worse. STEER CLEAR OF THIS TRAINWRECK, ESPECIALLY THE MCMURRAY OFFICE! They DO NOT care about you as a patient! The receptionist Leslie treats you like a nuisance, and so rude. I can't imagine being the patient having to deal with her, she would be the reason I didn't seek treatment at all. I can not speak to the counselors here, but if you want to be treated like you are nothing more than a pain in receptionists behind for having to deal with you, and have her cancel your appointments and double book them, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO TO ANOTHER OFFICE!!!
