They sent my husband a letter basically saying they would no longer be his doctor because he was disrespectful on a phone call. He was trying to relay that he was following the bottle instructions of the medicine prescribed--the staff was very condescending. When I wrote an email explaining the mistake and that I would be looking for a new PCP--they never responded and removed me from the portal--without a single word--I assume I will get the same email as my husband. I am still shocked at their behavior.

The lady at the front desk, Mary Beth, was not only rude, but also extremely unprofessional. Without her having any knowledge of my medical history made derogatory and offensive comments. The tone and content of her speech made me feel like I was a victim of racial profiling. Without even knowing why I was there, she said that there was no way they could help me. I understand she is in a position of not much more value than minimum wage but still, if you are going to take a job, regardless of the pay, do it right. If you don't know what's going on with a patient don't assume the worse and make offensive, inaccurate statements about that patient in front of other patients. Also, don't make statements of what would be a violation of privacy if they were accurate, which they were not. Open enrollment is in a couple months and I am going back to Highmark. Some things in life aren't worth doing to save a few bucks and choosing UPMC over Highmark is one of them.

Before being introduced to her by a close friend, I was in a difficult point in my life. I lost some work due to COVID, a boyfriend of 2 years and I recently broke up and I just felt like I had no purpose in my life. To be completely honest, I never heard of reiki/healings until I was introduced to Dani. Working with her, I've become a better person. I've tried therapy and other ways to deal with my depression/anxiety but nothing has worked. With Dani I regained confidence. I was always told that I was "too emotional" and so for many years I repressed a lot of my emotions. But with the help of Dani, I was taught that it's okay to feel everything. She was very supportive and full of wisdom. After every session with her, I felt lighter and she offered many tools to help heal my dimmed soul. I'll never forget, a couple months after working with Dani, I went out of town for a wedding. While there I was randomly stopped by a man. He didn't know me and didn't even see my face, but said "wow- you are glowing bright today!!". I was shocked because I wasn't dressed fine, just in some old sweats and my hair was all over the place! Lol But after working with Dani, I've noticed I've been getting comments like that a lot even with the mask on! Dani had a huge heart and has a high level of empathy.
